@NightVista Be sure to check out my video titled "Dalek and Cyberman voice changer/ring modulator" - the frequency for the Cyberman voice is a lot higher (around 356 Hz) and it's a million times better than the voice changer helmets. The ring modulator itself is really simple, the components I used are two LT700 centre-tapped transformers and four matching cheap silicon diodes (don't bother with germanium). If you need any advice feel free to message me.
I am going to try and build a complete cyberman costume/armor for 71st World con in San Anotnio Texas USA (Aug 2013) I bought 2 used cyberman voice changer helmets, and I was going to take them apart and use them in the helmet I am going to make. Anyone aware where I can get the schematics for the ring modulator as used in the helmets?
@TheJeremyevans Trouble is, there's nothing really to patent! It's a simple ring modulator circuit that's been around for years. I do believe the BBC Radiophonic workshop actually used this circuit originally as the Dalek voice effect.
I'm seriously thinking about producing these as an "all in one" unit that has a microphone pre-amp, oscillator and power amp all in one box, as well as a light driver for the Dalek dome lights.
or heck, the schematics for this one? I keep finding a picture of one online that has such bad clearity, I can't read what the components are.

That is brilliant.

@brucethedalek Thanks!
Need to work on making the amplifiers small and compact - two car stereos and a huge bass amp aren't exactly practical to cart around inside a Dalek.
