  • You are obviously an phenomenal athlete, I've seen your other videos. However, I was wondering if using the Smith machine is a good idea for a combat athlete. I'm not hating, I started out on it.

Free weights have been proven to cause higher muscular activity and improve neuromuscular coordination. They also facilitate core stability and balance. All these improve your strength, power and coordination.

I wonder, why an advanced athlete such as yourself is using a Smith machine.

  • @murozman , Hello. The reason I'm using the smith machine is for demonstration. I usually do demonstrations on my videos when a viewer asks for a certain workout. Thanks for stopping by . Have an awesome weekend. :-)

  • @ElektraKnight It's my pleasure:)

  • Lek I have to tell you, you have fantastic back musculature.

  • @JasonTheX Thank you Jason and thanks for watching.

  • Great workout vid.. how many times do you lift per day and how long would a newbie train?

  • @devilstoysuk2 , I usually lift once a day but sometimes twice a day if I'm working out with a client. a newbie should start out training a little bit at a time. So I'd say about an hour a day until your body gets accustomed to lifting. This helps prevent to much soreness. Remember to take it easy and start out with light weight. Hope that helps. :-)

  • Three sets of twelve was hard to do.. but got the job done.. I like the press work out for the burn.. gives so much energy.. Good video tips..

  • @ahyermedia , I'm glad you made it through. Keep up the good work. Have a wonderful Wednesday. :-)

  • Elektra thanks for sharing us again :)

  • @utubercutie , You're very welcome and thanks for stopping by to watch.

  • good video Elektra - the only thing I'm good at that you talked about is drinking water!! LOL

  • @NatePinkyVideos , Water is good for you Nate. However I'm right here to help you with your workouts. :-)

  • @ElektraKnight ok thanks Elektra - I hope you are very very patient!

  • @NatePinkyVideos , Yes I am patient, unless you're in my boot camp. Then it's 25 pushups for every mess up.

  • @ElektraKnight uh oh - If I have to do 25 pushups for every mess up in my I'm going to end up looking like Arnold did in 1980!

  • @NatePinkyVideos , That's not a bad thing. heheh!
