@TheSuperGamerPro the trick is simply so obvious . david uses a thick table and he places his legs and waist inside using a 'sitted' position and the rest of his body is shown like if he is fully laid down . as for the rest part that is being cut , the legs u see there is not his . they are electronic . they do not seem to have a human behaviour in their movements. and another clue , is that if u see david fully laid down , u can see that he looks like he has been pulled and got lengthened.

@KAKATOMPIXTIS Actually the legs are real, but not Davids. There is another person laying on his back with legs up, hiding in the same thick table and where David's legs are hidden. Once he gets 'whole' and the box opens, the assistant is completely hidden in the table.

It is just a common trick. Not illusion. You notice the table is so thick. He tricked everybody.

I think it's even easier then that. They just used plank to move the stagehand into the back, and there was a second duck in the box. I always thought it was an easy trick, but the fact he did it with a kid was what made it so much fun.
