  • This is nothing. There was a case in London, England recently where a local councillor tried to represent the voters while living and studying in Arizona.

  • davmor1973, in the United States, it is considered a MUCH bigger deal if you don't reside in your home state than it is in your native United Kingdom where often an MP does not live in their own constiuency. The real reason why it's a big deal is because Dole prior to being elected to the Senate in 2002 had not lived in North Carolina since 1958! After she was elected, she spent MUCH more time in DC than in NC, a sign she is out of touch with North Carolinians.

  • They need to make another version of the two senior gentlemen on the porch who were confused about Dole being 92 or 93. The new ad would confuse Dole and the number of days she visited the state. In other words, an ad over the number 13, and maybe someone number tied to a stat.

  • Thnks for posting. This is among the cleverest political ads I've ever seen but I haven't seen it on TV and I live in NC.

  • Where oh where is Libby Dole? (Check the pocket of the nearest Lobbyist--or corporate CEO.)

  • LOL Classic!!! VERY GOOD!!

  • This is great, Dole needs to admit that she doesn't live in the state she represents.
