I like how Ray casually dumps a bunch of tannic acid into that tiny stream. If this show was filmed in the States, I'm sure he would have gotten a visit from the EPA :)
@TheJohn8765 I think since tannic acid is more natural, it won't affect the water supply as much. The acid would be filtered away. How would the ancients leached the acorns then? That's what I think. I kind of doubt that if in the States.
@TheJohn8765 Do you know ANYTHING about botany or tannic acid ? Considering the fact that Sumac grows besides many rivers and high moisture zones (especially in North America) and expels tannic acid into streams etc. year round since the dawn of time, I'd say you're a fool who speaks before thinking. , What do people do at rivers, oceans or any body of water? they piss, shit, use shampoo and conditioner, even washing your car is worlds more damaging then bloody tannin from a goddamn acorn.
@kingcollie Yes, you're right. Acorns are natural, as in the tannic acid which they produce. It causes little damage to the environment, and eventualy, it's broken down over time. Also, many wild birds, squirrels etc eat acorns any way.
lol like americans are the caring society
