@SaberLeoConvoy but how is that a botch she is not wrestling , she didnt mess up her lines , i dont get it , maybe she smiled like that to be sarcastic .
@ducc764 In an old WCW segment Randy Savage runs backstage to Torrie Wilson who breaks character and starts laughing aka corpsing. It gained infamy because of Botchamania.
For those that don't know what corpsing is it comes from the very old days of theater in which the actors onstage would purposely or accidentally make the person playing the dead person or corpse, laugh, thereby breaking character (they are meant to be dead). Now it just refers to breaking character and losing it slightly or completely in the form of laughter.
I'm not sure, but there's one episode of Smackdown after this, in which she insanely screams at Edge, "IT WAS OUR WEDDING DAY" or something like that. The scream was so over-the-top that I think that after it, she's struggling not to laugh. But I might be wrong, you could check on that.
Alright.. So corpsing is when someone smiles when they're supposed to be angry, serious, or upset? And when they do, we call for the man? That man being the creator of Botchamania aka Maffew? Then what's the joke of "Calling for the man"?
@jonjon535353 when Macho comes out acting pissed and Torrie Wilson starts corpsing on the live take, savages slaps her, to immediately wipe the smile off her face and saving his heel gimmick.
Macho Man Randy Savage = Anti-Corpsing prescription
@jonjon535353 Corpsing: slang term used to describe when an actor breaks character during a scene by laughing or by causing another cast member to laugh. In this case, Vickie broke character when she laughed.
@Maffewmaniac but, can someone also corpse without the influence of a other person? I mean Maria corpsed when she was supposed cry when Dolph broke up with her.
@Maffewmaniac I remember this, but I don't think what Vickie did was corpsing...I think she was "laughing" sarcastically in more of a mocking the fans way instead of breaking out of character.
@MSH786 Nah, you can't fake a smile like that. She fixed herself quickly and made it look like a sarcastic, condescending laugh (kudos to her, BTW), but it started off as a genuine chuckle.
Heck, now that I think about it, i'd chuckle too. If you're a heel and you're gettin' THAT much heat, you're pretty much god for that night.
@jonjon535353 When Torrie Wilson was caught smiling, Savage responded by pretendingly "punching" her, so "send for the man" means hey someone's corpsing, punch them in the face.
@jonjon535353 the man is randy savage.... he was doing a serious scene and torie wilson started to laught so he slapped her to make her focus... so now when people corpse and someone says send for the man, they are implying that randy savage comes and slaps them in the face
@fantomkitsune And I have never seen someone so intolerant of the fact one person is out of the loop on something. I simply asked what it was all about. I didn't asked to be belittle by someone of your incompitence.
@jonjon535353 The send for the man joke comes from an old WCW segment when Savage ran backstage, serious about something. And Torrie is corpsing, so he asked her why she's laughing, and hits her.
@jonjon535353 it came from a WCW interview, Savage was doing a backstage spot and Torrie Wilson started smiling when she shouldve been acting scared, so Savage slapped her...the reference to calling for the man is wanting Savage to slap the person corpsing

Belittled.
Not Belittle.
One's a past tense, the other is an active verb.
The more you know, the less likely you'll start throwing around terms like 'incompitence'. Which has one I and three e's, while we're at it.
