Maybe all other Bonds didnt do Flemmings Job. but that doesnt count right now. the audience wants James Bond as they know him. Cold Blooded Killing Maschine ? Go and Watch John Rambo. that aint james bond. james bond is a smart dude, smart language, plays well, has to have his Q for all his gadgets etc etc etc. THIS is James Bond EVERYBODY loves and EVERYBODY wants!

Just wait for the next shitty Bond and listen to the guy next to you in the cinema. i bet he says: THATS NO JAMES BOND!

Actually I went to the theater and saw Quantum of Solace there was a couple sitting next to me, they never complained about QoS. After the movie the man said "That was actually good" and the woman replied "Yes, I'm surprised". They weren't a young couple, looked about as old as my grandmother... And before the movie they had previews for Blu-Ray discs, when they showed some older Bond films several people said "That one sucked" when they showed Casino Royale many people said "That one rocked"

The James Bond that everyone should know is the Bond in the books, after all they were first and set the precedent. The Bond in the Films up to CR was not Bond, but I liked them anyways. CR is a fine start to make the Movie Bond into the Flemming Bond. Many Bond fans are the fans of the books as well, and from all accounts they loved this film and the next one, and are eagerly awaiting the third.

maybe this is the most - flemming like - bond ever, fine. if all previous bonds had been like this jb today would never be so successful.

if i wanna see some routhless, brainless killer, i watch rambo4. if i wanna see some kind of acrobatic fighting and car chases only i check out transporter.

But you could also make the argument that nobody knows "James Bond". Don't get me wrong I understand what you are saying, it is different, but its better different. Bond isn't a pretty boy he was former SAS, and those guys are sent in to do one thing, KILL, ruthlessly as you say. He maakes mistakes, he isn't super human. I loved the old Bond films, but they are just that, old Bond films. As much as I loved them, I am glad to see them go.

Sean Connery, Roger Moore. THOSE Guys were great bonds. where is all the Bond stuff, which made BOND to BOND ? james bond needs his Q, james bond needs his real movietheme, james bond needs his martini. the last 2 movies were nothing than sensless action movies, they havnt anything to do with JAMES BOND!

Wrong, dead wrong... Craig is the Bond Ian Fleming wrote about in his books: a cold-blooded killing machine... As to where Roger Moore was a campy, silly, gadget-loving James Bond (don't get me wrong, I liked Roger aswell).. But Craig is BOND! Go watch Die Another Day (of Pierce'). That was is sooooo silly, an invisible car? Gosh, Bond doesn't need gadgets to fight, he needs what anybody else would need: Skill.

Daniel Craig is the lamest James Bond ever. Craig is million miles away from beeing a real James Bond, he has ABSOLUTLY NO STYLE!

virtualinsanity2k, Daniel Craig is a great James Bond.. He's more of a ruthless, cold-blooded killer than the rest of the Bonds (Most of which were also great James Bonds). Daniel Craig IS James Bond... DEAL WITH IT!
