I also really like the interviews where he gets tested... and he seems to get better and better at it with each interview. i LOVE the bit about "Why would I need an energy policy? I wouldn't need a national policy for distributing cell phones..." :O)
Hello? Bilateral trade served us well for almost our nation's entire history! Can't people see that all the pointy-headed bureaucrats are fabricating reasons to "fix" things because they have so screwed up the world with the bureaucracies already in place, and that their solutions will only lead to worse conditions? Well I think it was more of a question feed type situation.. all the questions were issues that He didn't get to answer in the debates and I think she was trying to seem engaging while asking questions that others might ask in places he can't respond. well now here are his responses. :)

Concerning energy policy - stop blocking nuclear power and this country can be totally energy independent in a decade. We have uranium to propel us virtually forever, some estimate billions years of energy needs of the whole civilization. Then there is thorium, 3x more abundant.
And of course, there is nuclear fusion and solar power, which in several thousands of years we will figure out how to make working for cheap.
Also, people need to think about it, what if oil was outrageously high? It would put a great strain on the companies that depend on oil and guess what they would do. They would start whole departments on alternative energy sources in order to stay in buisness and competitive! It would be awesome!
The Global Warming Problem might get fixed along with it, killing two birds with one stone! More than likely the alternative source would be more efficient and less greenhouse gases would be emited. Free markets can and do work, we just need to give them a chance and stop living in fear - that is our whole problem!

I personally think interviews like this are more beneficial for learning someone's viewpoint than interviews where the interviewer is already a supporter. After all one of Ron Paul's job will be convincing people who don't already agree with him that his view is worth taking a look at. Dissenters always play a role, much like Ron Paul's role in the second debate.
Just a few hours ago I spoke with Ron Paul's National Campaign Manager, Lew Moore. I understood him to say that donating as much as possible, as soon as possible, is better than stringing the same donation out over a period of time.
