Inme sing with a british accent and so did Iron Maidens old singer Paul Di'anno. im not insultin ffaf but its more emotional to hear someone sing with thier vernacular accent....tho a welsh accent would be odd in screamo

except for the fact that singing is universal theres no accent involved. when you hear a clear accent in singing its exaggerated for effect and therefore is not natural and less emotional. kno wI have to fake it 10 time sharder to try and sing in a way that would have someone say "that guys English"

Goggys06 has a point coz punk and indie bands tend not to give 2 shits what they sound like. i think it takes more of an effort to drop the accent when singing then enforcing it, well who knows; it could vary for people.
