@DJChrissyChris100 No, this trick simply involved a confederate. (Just met him, but it still counts.) This is the only time I asked someone to act a certain way, and it was simply for a card trick. :D

All the other things he did in those other clips were true and live, and his personality in them is what led me to ask him if he would like to be part of the trick. It was all one recording, which may or not be obvious. I told him in an email that I was going to milk him through December, hah!

This is possibly a mental trick, perhaps the prep and words said to 'Jamal' before he asks him to think of a number, makes a person more likely to pick 10 of diamonds? I know in mental tricks this is a common thing but I can't really fully believe that out of so many cards that would be possible in this situation. Off cam he could of told the guy to say the 10 of diamonds and sure he could of slipped the card up and taped it on when the guy announced his card.. but that seemed hard and unlikely.

@originalsin92 Amusing he had a pack of cards on hand, that would mean that he had a total of 7 seconds (3:45 - 3:52) to locate the 10 of diamonds then somehow get it to stick on the back of the paper without making the paper move or without any sign of another hand appearing from the bottom or anywhere. :S I love it though! Wonder if it was luck or just awesomeness.
