  • You seem pretty knowledgeable about these things

Got one of these destined for a similar place as you got yours.

So I've taken quite a bit apart trying to get the damn thing to start. It's got spark, and it's got fresh gas. Its the exact same model as yours.

Also, noted, the pump is probably screwed on this one too.

  • they underrate those things

  • this is the best power washer video iv ever seen hahahaha you can make a 9000 psi washer just need a 25 hp or higher motor

  • this is the best power washer video iv ever seen hahahaha

  • Lol, it even says on the sticker what Cleaning Units are! xD

  • i'd say it has the 9 hp for higher gpm versus a smaller gpm unit.

  • Lynol i have a question. for some reason the pump on my dads power washer leakes water. is there a way to fix it??

  • @KohlerFan Make sure the housing isn't cracked first, but you can replace the seals if thats where its leaking.

  • hey Lynol if you can make a video on this running or you guys fixing it please!

  • Did it work?

  • Love scrap picking, stupid dozers always get the goodies. Also, my 5 HP consumer grade honda puts out 2600 PSI, so 9HP for 3000 PSI is total overkill.

  • Does it have a tappered shaft?

  • "What the FUCK is a cleaning unit"?!!! aahahaha

  • you probably paid less then $10 for it cant complain about that

  • I use karcher pressure washers

  • 3000 psi is about the top end for homeowner units professional units only go up to 4000psi or so

  • bet the carb is pretty gummed up

  • @30GB You better believe it. I'm putting a vid up of that. I don't know what the heck was in there.

  • Another good honda design feature that rope start if the pull start breaks

  • They still let you take stuff home from the dump? Around here it's a hangin' offense.

  • @hoppes9 They don't let us take electronics anymore, but the metal pile is still free reign. (as long as you get there before the dozer crushes everything)

  • get the moter runnin and sell the moter

  • 3000 psi is pretty good for that kind of unit.

  • what swap meet is on sunday? thanks

  • Lynol Hoping you can help me out? I have a Honda motor on a pressure washer that will not start unless you put gas in the carb. It is getting gas to the carb and into the bowl but for some reason it is not getting from the bowl to the motor. I have cleaned the carb. It has three gaskets between the carb and the motor, if one gasket is bad (sucking air) could that be an issue?

  • @bulldog0046 I say take the carb apart and clean it, might have a clogged jet or something.

  • "effective cleaning units"

Where 3000 psi X 3.0 gpm yields 9,000 e.c.u. and 1500 psi X 2 gpm yields 3,000 e.c.u. Notice the first is 3 times as effective as the latter. So now you can understand why a high psi unit with a low gpm rating is nothing more than an oversized waterpic on steroids. .

What is generally understood in the painting and equipment rental industries is that it takes about 9,000 cleaning units or more to effectively strip paint when prepping a house for painting.

    GPM beatsPSI

  • @fergfergferg123 Nice, thanks for the info. Ya know, I never thought about how the GPM played into it! Makes sense, I have used two different washers with the same PSI rating but noticed one was more effective than the other, I'll bet that one had a lower GPM rating. So is the rating of "cleaning units" like a standard in the pro business?

  • @LynolsOffice I think cleaning units is used in the industry, 9hp for a pressure washer is very powerful

  • @LynolsOffice well I thought about this too. Think about it; if it can't process x amount of water per minute, what good does the pressure do?

  • I think we might have an Excell. Picked it up at Home Depot.

  • more vids!!!

  • Cleaning unit = Psi x gallons per minute

  • I have a motor like this it has a deep reduction maybe thats what there getting at ,Unless something like BTU British thermal units maybe it `s a pulse sort of thing clean the mainjet & bowl & fire it up

  • Cleaning units*

  • It tells you right at the bottom of the label there. =)

  • I totally called the "What the fuck is a cleaning unit" before you said it lol

  • cleaning units is multiplying the psi by the gallon per min its kind of like the numbers on a truck

  • i would guess its psi multiplied by its gpm aka a way to make you buy it

  • @phantom3rdchannel lol i didn't see it explained at the bottom so sorry lol
