It is some what easy to do pin up hair styles w/ layered hair. You just need to practice. Practice makes perfect trust me when I first started doing it I was so frustrated cuz I couldn't get the pin curls to stay put for my life, and I kept practicing and hell I'll say it comes out pretty damn good now.

@queeneggplant Use mini clips! I have really thick hair and I use goody's miniclips... They have a couple differents sizes.... You just need to get the hang for putting them on... Choose a color close to your haircolor and you can always hide them by pinning little fake flowers or wathever...
