Awesome studio bro! You come a long way. I have the Mackie HR-824's too. They ROCK! I have a couple video's up showing my studio setup. If you have time, check'm out and tell me what you think. I'd love some pointers.
dude you have the right attitude about everything,i myself put so much into my studio and still doing alot of free work but i just love doing it and just wanna get my name and studio out there, take care my friend
Love the Passion :) just wonderin why you're goin' between cubase and pro tools, isn't it a pain to switch between 2 DAW's, or do you use them both...?
Hey man, so great to see your progress after 2 years ;-) Started DJing last year and having good success and goin the same route: Djing for financing the studio ;-) ... but there is more to come, you get contacts, you record (produce) your first own CD and so on... you might still recognize me as Laid-Back Producer...
YOU CAN HAVE A 10000MILLION dolla studio but if you aint got talent or original flavor you still gonna sound wak bro. But on the other side I have lots of old gear but lots of talent with sick flavor mang. Lets make a beat battle CJD VS HUGOTRAFFICANTE and lets see if its true that you need new expensive gear to produce hits. With all my respect for music money dont mean shit.
I love your passion Yes money is first but having a passion to build the ultimate studio is awsome, the best thing you are doing it while you are young!!!
I like your way of looking at studio production ! its cool that you help people out, im actually like at a stage 2 studio xD and im also into working as a Dj to fuel my hobby.
Why a Neko and Not a StudioBlade !! wow i think he didnt know about "studioblades" or maybe he got the neko used cause there pretty old now .. those are only good for portable studio's anyway I/O's/sample rates and such aren't the best
Holy cow you have a neko? Did you get endorsed or did you really spend 8k on that?? I've heard from SO many sources that it's an overpriced hunk of junk lol.
I've got the HR824's also, they're amazing... Best monitor's I've ever heard. Also use a motif XF8.
CJD You asked what we think of your studio. Well You have many in one, I like the layout. Like me I like space, and organization. Looks good, like the Older Records On the wall gives a great vintage feel and I think for production for artist and friends and so on it adds to feeling comfortable. I like to teach on how to produce. Love the equipment., Dj ing is fun, you have alot going on. So in regards to your dream don't give up. With passion you will do well I see it. Peace R.J.
It's not an XXL it's a LX5 and they're not produced anymore but great stuff anyway, also there's a new keyboard production station company on the block, the Studioblades at a great price, design by the same guy (Victor Wong) who co-founded Open Labs and designed all the products (Neko's, Miko's,etc.) left and started Music Computing (dot) com, working with the Epic Ed Rhone (also ex Open Labs)

@qkyqky Your a pussy hole, his studio is epic, and it is way better than your's, U have to get some one to beat a tin can because U aint got drums, so beat it douch bag, or and U suck big time, that goes from me and every one else who enjoys good people sharing their time with us, do one and don't bother looking at any more vid's. your a waster
Hey CJDAudio, the BOSS br1200 is on my list, seen them in action and they are great, would U recommend the br1600 ? I only want it for home use really, so it is just a project, plus U can make cds using it at great quality, it has drums and bass as well, does the 1600 have any extras ?
Hey, need your advice. i just want to record some vocals with guitars and piano's and backing tracks etc. what would be the most proffesional sounding mic you'd suggest for me to get... and how do i go about it working, plug it in the laptop? how much should i look to spend?

Hey, I love your videos and the studio looks awsome. I was wondering could you by any chance hook me up with a Dj drop. If it sounds like too much to ak thats fine but could you get back to me.?
