The open picture are my two old cars and my picture! The 57 Chevy 150 Sedan is from the SF Bay Area.I owned twice in my lifetime.I sold it the last time in 2005, the last I seen of it was at a oodguys show in Phoenix,AZ.Thumper was a fun car.Lots of fun memories in that car.The other car was a Model A I bought right before I sold Thumper.
Do Gassers have to run a strait axle front end???? I know it looks the most period correct for weight transfer, etc., on most bodies, but I've seen a couple of cars that still looked bitchin even with the front end not hiked.
So technicall, do they have to run a strait axle front? Or just most do?
@zorrlander I noticed some of the chevy gassers had a transverse leaf spring in front as opposed to parallel leafs how does this affect the handling for the better or worse?
that's really bad ass. i've built a million saws, but sadly never a dragster.. maybe someday, but at this point it's a hell of alot cheaper just to watch.
This is Old School !!! Love it and could watch it 100 times Back in the good old days. Topped off by some Commander Cody !
