I would also point out that the authentic hadiths that I am aware of do not depict him "convulsing" but go ahead and bring something forward. You're wrong about only Moses talking to God. The torah clearly says, "יֵרֵד יְ־הֹוָ־ה לְעֵינֵי כָל הָעָם עַל ,"הַר סִינָי which means "the Lord will descend before the eyes of all the people upon Mount Sinai."

Jesus was an orthodox jewish Rabbi who put Teffilin every day, wore zizit and even died on passover. I ultimately believe that either Reform or Conservative Judaism is probably correct, (not Islam, sorry) but I am on your side against many of the arrogant Orthodox. In Judges chapter 2, you will see that after Joshua dies, the children of Israel forget about Torah. This kicks off hundres of years of sin in ancient Israel. (and angry prophets) The Jews are then exhiled for their sin. They return under Ezra, who REINSTATES the Torah. See Nehemiah chapter 8. "Unbroken" chain of transmission, huh?

Actually, Judaism is much more forgiving of people of other faiths than most interpretations of Christianity or Islam. If anything, it's EASIER to be a gentile than a Jew according to Judaism. A gentile just has to be a good person and believe in God to be judged "good" in Judaism. It's the Jews who have to achieve a higher level of ritual observance. And it's because they are supposed to set a good example that others will eventually follow. Look up "noachide" for specifics.
As far as why I believe in Judaism at all, it's because I appreciate Jewish history: The Jews were exiled all over the world for 2,000 years, survived the worst persecutions in history, and returned to their land. In the process they became the most influential people in history (60% of the world believe in Christianity or Islam, which are derivative of Judaism) despite being sooo tiny. It doesn't really make sense, except that the Bible basically predicts it. My opinion.

Can I recommend that you use a JPS translation of the Jewish Bible? The Artscroll version you show in the video is put out by the Orthodox movement, and seems to have sketchy translation when something isn't to Orthodoxy's liking. My parents were intermarried (jew and christian) so I've always been a religious questioner myself. I believe you are correct when you say the Bible is imperfect and that the "unbroken" chain of transmission the Orthodox rely on was actually quite broken.
Thank you for your comments, I actually own a JPS hebrew Bible along with another translation of the Torah. I am aware of biases on either side, I enjoy literal translations so the Stone edition tends to exceed in that area. I would recommend to the Ancient Roots Bible, that is probably the most literal. The major differences between the Sunnis and Shia are over history and Tradition. We both use the same Quran and believe in it, however because of different Hadiths(Traditions) these lead to some different beliefs with regards to leadership and certain aspects of theology.

@MDIS Actually if you look at cultures around the world instead of just the Bible, one would find that that indeed does equal revelation. I would also point out that the authentic hadiths that I am aware of do not depict him "convulsing" but go ahead and bring something forward. Also the idea of being afraid of a supernatural agent is not an uncommon idea as well.

Regarding the claim of witnesses, a) it does not matter if Moses saw god or didnt see god at the burning bush. The point is that Judaism is the ONLY religion that makes the claim in its original holy book that there were thousands and thousands, Islam may do this in other texts but certainly not in the Quran itself. This doe snot prove the torah but it adds to the claim because it's a hard claim for people to accept if it was not true.

I think know that Muslims and Christians agree that the Torah is the word of G-d. Can you tell me why they would ignore G-d's command in Duetoronomy 12 which states "Do not add nor subtract from which I command you". This is not verbatim but you can look it up, the verse is in the ending of Duetoronomy 12. By creating the Quran and the New Testament violates this commandment.
Not to mention that I can mentions several contradictions in the Quran and New Testament. So can you if you read them.

Thanks for your input I have already addressed this concept on the main comment section on my main page. If you read this chapter it appears that the ten commandments are revealed, but to suppose that the entire Torah was actually witnesses by the whole Nation of Israel is something that simply read into the text. However if you are just pointing out that the entire Nation witnesses SOME part of the revelation, then I cold concede to your point, anything else I would have to disagree.

Jesus was an orthodox jewish Rabbi who put Teffilin every day, wore zizit and even died on passover. He was also a jew who believed in the Torah which is holy and unchanged since Moses brought it to us and followed ALL the commendments. You can believe what you want, I don't believe it. If God wanted the Quran or "Ingeel" to be his messages he would have given them on Mount Sini not the Torah.

Christ is the Messiah who replaced Judaism with Catholicism when he sacrficed himself for our redemption. Judaism is simply an old tradition that does not believe the full truth. Plus, their religion numbers are dropping regularly....not counting the 1000's that are Judaic only be background but don't care/pratise their faith at all.

i dont know how you are studying islam, do you know arabic? i dont know exactly what your saying in your videos, wether the quran has been changed or not doesnt realy matter, the quran was not the word of God in the first place, im an ex muslim, studied quran and hadith/tafsir. I ultimately believe that either Reform or Conservative Judaism is probably correct, (not Islam, sorry) but I am on your side against many of the arrogant Orthodox. In Judges chapter 2, you will see that after Joshua dies, the children of Israel forget about Torah. This kicks off hundres of years of sin in ancient Israel. (and angry prophets) The Jews are then exhiled for their sin. They return under Ezra, who REINSTATES the Torah. See Nehemiah chapter 8. "Unbroken" chain of transmission, huh?

How can Judaism be the TRUTH when it does not apply to all HUMAN beings. I think this is actually proof that Judaism is a cult. What kinda of God do you guys follow that would abandon 99.9% of all human souls that he created from one family. There is absolutely nothing special with the Jews in the bible, they seem to be as wicked as the Gentiles.
I don't see where this divine favoritism is warranted....

Actually, Judaism is much more forgiving of people of other faiths than most interpretations of Christianity or Islam. If anything, it's EASIER to be a gentile than a Jew according to Judaism. A gentile just has to be a good person and believe in God to be judged "good" in Judaism. It's the Jews who have to achieve a higher level of ritual observance. And it's because they are supposed to set a good example that others will eventually follow. Look up "noachide" for specifics.

As far as why I believe in Judaism at all, it's because I appreciate Jewish history: The Jews were exiled all over the world for 2,000 years, survived the worst persecutions in history, and returned to their land. In the process they became the most influential people in history (60% of the world believe in Christianity or Islam, which are derivative of Judaism) despite being sooo tiny. It doesn't really make sense, except that the Bible basically predicts it. My opinion.

In the bible and the Jewish oral traditions, Gentiles are basically animals, to be enslaved, conquered and slaughtered. There is very little difference between Jewish, Islamic, Christian barbarism. The truth of the matter is the world religions are cults built upon cults. Lets not forget Zoroastrianism is truly the roots of all 3 major religions and in turn derives major concepts from Ancient Egyptian and Indian mythology.

Can I recommend that you use a JPS translation of the Jewish Bible? The Artscroll version you show in the video is put out by the Orthodox movement, and seems to have sketchy translation when something isn't to Orthodoxy's liking. My parents were intermarried (jew and christian) so I've always been a religious questioner myself. I believe you are correct when you say the Bible is imperfect and that the "unbroken" chain of transmission the Orthodox rely on was actually quite broken.

Thank you for your comments, I actually own a JPS hebrew Bible along with another translation of the Torah. I am aware of biases on either side, I enjoy literal translations so the Stone edition tends to exceed in that area. I would recommend to the Ancient Roots Bible, that is probably the most literal. Just one point. There are different types of Islam aswell.Some Muslims think they are right and the other type of muslims are wrong! Sunnys and Sheyits for example. Not sure if I have spelt that right? But hope you know who am refering to.
What do they disagree about if its the same Quaran? I cannot get my head around why they fight over the same Book! What is this conflict in the Quaran?

The major differences between the Sunnis and Shia are over history and Tradition. We both use the same Quran and believe in it, however because of different Hadiths(Traditions) these lead to some different beliefs with regards to leadership and certain aspects of theology.

As for the Torah - it is well known to have been received with countless witnesses. If you spoke Hebrew there are many discussions on YT by Rabbis discussing this!
He also mentioned the Torah because it is the holiest book. It is the torah kept in the synagogue cabinet, not the Tanach! What is your problem with discussing it without the rest of the Tanach?

You assume I am uneducated that I get my information on Google? How ignorant of you. I made it very clear based on evidence in my description sections and I also mentioned in my video many Scholars what have discussed issues within the Torah and are thus errors. I didn't speak of the entire Hebrew Bible because the person who's video this is a response to limited his discussion to the Torah. YOU WERE trying to bring up the entire Tanach, I was not accusing you of speaking only about the Torah, quite the opposite, you were trying to widen it! I was pointing out it makes perfect sense to discuss the Torah since it's the book kept within the Synagogue, not the entire Tanach! It's strange how you misrepresent EVERY SINGLE POINT I made and then suggest to me to listen to the conversation better before making more comments.
