i think the chances for a space expansion mod will be added some where down the line, there will definetly be alot of demand for it that bioware and lucas arts cant just ignore.

game looks cool... but taken that there are so many planets.. is there like a main planet or location where players meet? just like org or sw in WoW?

@fall0rn There is a major city for each faction, as well as a main space fleet for each as well. The fleet allows you to travel as groups to dungeons etc, and the cities offer certain vendors and look awesome. :)

There's so much they could do with space content in this game. These ships are huge so they can add turrets and make space combat a multiplayer experience. Kind of like Jump to Lightspeed attempted to do... only better.

@420SPLIFER Right now you can only control it during battles, and tell it where to travel to from the map. I think they will add more to this area of the game in an expansion...i hope!

@420SPLIFER dont worry, star wars galaxies mmo came out in 2003 and didnt even have any form of space.....over a year later their first explansion called jump to light speed, created a huge space world to explore..............im pretty sure there will be a space expansion, it all depends on how much people complain on the forums and support the game how it is already, i highly doubt ea will push money into a space expansion if people dont support the game at launch.
