if you're gonna do that you need pointe shoes with TAPS. that is not what they are meant for and its harmful to the shoes.

@jtdancer5937 I was just fooling around. Gosh. It's not like I do this for a living. I do more classical ballet than anything else. This was like two years ago. I am not going to kill my 100$ pointe shoes doing toe tap every day at home.

Sorry I forgot that you were American; in the UK a lack of interest in sex is regarded as an unhealthy condition for both mind and body.

Since the survival of the species is dependent on sex, we are conditioned through natural selection to find a sense of pleasure in knowing that we are attractive to others; whatever pre 'third wave' feminists may tell us!

It is a form of novalty dance that comes out of the 1920s if you see someone that can do it well its impressive, and they have special taps for them so that they can do this in pointe shoes.

@dancerforlife62 what are pointe shoes meant for then there meant for dancing and this is just a variasion of the normal dance they are used for just because it isn't the original way they were used doesn't mean its not what they were 'meant' for :L

looks like I found this before many that like toe tap did including the one guy.

Um try doing some shuffles and hops and watch the other videos on you tube to help you learn toe tap.

Ha sweet keep at it, your getting the hang of toe tap. bend your knees when you do it it helps absorb the shock of hitting your toes on the ground like that.
