it might be an extension of future I 11 but if its extended to canada, it might be 95 to carson city then 395 till it reaches us 20 then follows it east to us 95 then us95 till a future bypass in the boise area then it will go east to ID 69 then follow it to I 84 then west to a future freeway corridor 4 miles east then follows that to ID 52 then to ID 55 then back to us 95 then to us195 till spokane then 3 miles east to a future freeway corridor being built then follows us395 to canada
@NHRHS2010: Ha, true. I-95 has some very interesting sections, though. My favorite is probably thru Dade County, FL, and thru the DC/Baltimore region.
@FreewayBrent I've never been on I-95 in Florida but the section between Washington, DC and Boston is a disaster, especially in the Bronx, New York (there's traffic even on Sundays and during the weekdays there's nothing but trucks, hardly any cars on that road). Also, I've never been anywhere near Miami but I have been to Orlando and Cocoa Beach before.
Very well done! I especially enjoyed the addition of the informational signs on the video (speed limits, etc.). It's been a few years since I've driven on the 95 in Las Vegas; this brought back some memories - can't wait until my next visit.
@ChrisK529: You probably last saw US 95, when it was just a huge construction zone. It must have been nice for you to see the final product, as is displayed in this video.
Did you get a chance to watch my I-15 video, thru Las Vegas? I released that one at about the same time I released this one.
@FreewayBrent You're correct, 95 was a big construction zone last time I drove on it (so was most of CC-215; glad that's almost completely finished too even if it is someone else's video).
@FreewayBrent I found pictures on aaroads.com of the US 95 freeway in Vegas after the reconstruction and the speed limit along the reconstructed freeway was 60 mph.
@cubsrule2040 I haven't driven myself on US 95 but the last time I was on US 95 was as a passenger as a kid, long before I got my drivers license. But looking at Google Street View I do recall seeing "Speed limit 60" sign near Lewiston, Idaho.
I'm willing to record my trips also. Could you please clarify to me which equipment do you have and how do you fix it onto the dashboard? Thank you. I've became one of your video's fan.
@BoogsterSU2: OoOoOoOh, that's definitely a good stretch to record. I drove it twice in a 3 day span, last month (from Phoenix to Vegas), but drove it first at night, and then again in the early evening and then night time hours. If I get back out there, I'll definitely get it on film. For now, check out ScrewedUpClickV2 on Youtube, and check out his US 93 video over the Hoover Dam.
@gsnman: Hey there, I was in Vegas about a month ago. If you want, check out my I-15 Arizona video (my featured video on here), since I recorded it the same day that I recorded my Vegas videos.
@aswchris: You're probably right about that; the freeway didn't really start to take shape until the early 80's, I think. You should have seen what it was like, before reconstruction. A narrow 6 lanes, and congestion that lasted from about 6 a.m., all the way until as late as 10 p.m. during the weekdays.
"A narrow 6 lanes, and congestion that lasted from about 6 a.m., all the way until as late as 10 p.m. during the weekdays."
Seriously? There was traffic for 16 hours straight on that road? Reminds me of INTERSTATE 95 in Bronx. I live in New Jersey myself and I have to deal with highway traffic all the time. Route 17 not only has problems with traffic congestion, the speed limit is too low for a highway.
@NHRHS2010: Yeah, unfortunately so. Before its reconstruction, US 95 thru Vegas was one of the busiest freeways in North America on a lane-by-lane basis.
I-95 in the Bronx is pretty awful, too! And the congestion levels along the George Washington Bridge are no joke, either. I remember back in 2009, when it took me almost 1 hour, just to transfer from I-87 North to I-95 West in the Bronx; not a fun experience.
@patrick560sl: Yo, yo, yo. Yeah, the music I choose is not quite for everyone, but it does seem to naturally fit with the speed of my videos, which is why I've stuck to the genre. Glad you've been enjoying the tunes, and the videos too. :-)

...and of course, it's under construction again. Ya gotta love it when they put our tax dollars to work!! ;^)

@Kevbox2008: Hey, thank you! How's the progress along US 95 coming along?
FreewayBrent 8 months ago
@FreewayBrent I live in Henderson so I haven't been out there in a while but the last time I was out, they were making GOOD progress.
Kevbox2008 8 months ago
That is probably the widest highway of all of Nevada.
Cozybop 9 months ago
@Cozybop: It sure is, although the recent widening of I-15 thru Vegas has turned I-15 into a pretty wide freeway as well.

US 95 is a LOT better and a LOT more scenic than Interstate 95!

Was the speed limit on this road 60 before?

@cubsrule2040: That's a good question. I honestly have no clue, as I never got a chance to drive it, before construction started.

It should be worth noting that the color on that those Canon camcorders put out is unbeatable. Nice job!
