You should turn on Rehit mode and you'll see some real combos.

Also, you really need atleast Enhancement 1 if you're using the Jaguar.

Go into the secret menu and you have the option of enabling rehit mode.

Tournament mode is basically designed to have it on actually. Some some specials such as the double-upgraded Jaguar Leap (Leap > Leap > Overhead Throw) simply can't combo unless it's activated. It's somewhat broken though in single-player since almost every character can produce instant-kill combos with it, but since you have a lot more defense in Tournament mode it's balanced.

I can see where you get that. The game's definitely got a bit of an anime style, and giant robots always make me think of Gundam.

I kinda liked OMF 2097, but I couldn't quite figure out the timing with combos so I gave up on it quite fast. I did like the Tournament mode, and the fact that on some stages you could hurt your opponent indirectly (the spikes that comes fort from the background, the planes that fly over the battlefield while firing etc.) which was an interesting idea.

Too bad that the sequel didn't meet the expetations, I heard it got bashed pretty hard.

OMF's combos were easy to learn. You just experiment until you find whatever works. The moves lists are readily available online, I believe, including the scrap moves I never learned how to do.

OMF: Battlegrounds isn't too bad, but it's not all that great either. I've got it, but I dunno if I can review it or not (if I can, I will).

... i like your reviews but in some of them your voice volume changes alot... like you go from like a normal voice volume to a murmur and then to a yell (i know your probably aware of this though). in some videos its not that a problem but in the others.. O_o
