Sure apartheid was wrong, but don't knock the people who created the best country on the continent today. Everyone wants the contributions, but to rid SA of the contributors. You cannot have contributions without contributors.

Pilger is slanting the story to fit the facts he wants to quote.

The richest 5% of any population will continue to be wealthy if you take their land.

Presenting a viewpoint that whites gave up nothing when apartheid ended is a lie. Entire neighborhoods, luxury high rises & expensive land was taken over by the masses. Thousands of middle class "whites" lost their homes. FF 10 years & all of these assets are so rundown most are condemned. What would SA be in 10 years without "whites"?

the ANC have fucked over their own people to nearly the same extent as the Apartheid scumbags. Yet Mandela is still a hero to practically every black South African. The black middle class has indeed grown to a huge degree and they've basically taken the place of all the white middle class who left the country post-'94. But the vast mass of poor blacks hasnt benefitted an iota from the so called 'new South Africa'. There could well be an even bigger violent upheaval in SA within the next decade.

This video was made before 1999 (flighted Aug 2001 by the ticker date) judging by some comments in the video - 11 years later the ANC government has still failed to make any difference in the lives of most black people

Guilt-ridden liberal white apologists like Pilger need to wake up and smell the coffee (not to mention the theft and corruption at government level) to understand the nature of black government, proven by the fact that they have achieved nothing in 16 years since 1994!
