I don't understand how after all these years of the same 2 parties and getting worse everytime we put a new one in office waiting for CHANGE we haven't gotton yet. People still go back to the same old thing. Afraid to step out of the box and think for themselves. There being put out there like a product. Our goverment needs an overhaul a major one. 40 years they walked around that mountain. Ithink we need a new path.

My friend works for the gov't and he is always complaining about exactly what Ralph has pointed out - the work is contracted out, the gov't employees lose control of the project, and when things go wrong, big workarounds are needed because the contractor is out of business or not available to fix the problem.

Yeah, my brother in law is a legislative liaison and he is so disillusioned by the whole process that he wants to quit. He told me that there is not a single bill that is passed in the legislature that does not benefit a corporation.
