  • Hi!! Wow your coloring skills are amazing! I can't wait to get Artrage myself. One question, how do you not color over your line art? Thank you so much!

  • @shoujoluvr707 Hi -- The line art is on a separate layer, so it is protected from being painted over. The line art layer is above the layer that I'm painting on. Thanks for the nice comment!

  • are you using a cintiq tablet

  • ** How to import a PSD file into ArtRage ** Part #1 When you import a layered Photoshop PSD file into ArtRage, it has to be in RGB mode, not in CMYK mode. You can change the mode in Photoshop before you bring it in to ArtRage.

  • Part #2 When you import your drawing, ArtRage will put it on the lowest layer and give it an opaque paper background......To be able to see through your linework to the color paint below, DO THIS: On your imported Drawing layer, go to "Edit Paper Settings" and near the bottom of the options dial the "paper opacity" (NOT the layer opacity) to 0%

  • kool vids :) but the problem is that i dont know how to import pics

  • Hi Sayid -- Thanks so much! --Sherm

  • Love these videos! Great for an ArtRage beginner like me :)

  • One day I may learn how to color. For now I'll stick with drawing. Good information, Sherm.

  • Thanks Evan...I had no idea how to color until I just started playing with ArtRage! Use the eyedropper to borrow colors from paintings you like, and then experiment!
