You may want to predict this coming Tuesday (1.11.11). VZW is having a press conference to announce someting. WSJ predicts Steve jobs will be there too. Maybe the VZW iPhone and/or VWZ iPad 2 (LTE) wil attend along with Steve Jobs.

More then likely the iphone won't be out until February for one reason "money" vzw and att are trying to lock people into contracts as fast as possible that's why all the smart phones at verizon and the iphone 4 at att are at such good prices. They won't release the iphone until at least 30 days after Christmas so people will have to pay full price for the device instead of an exchange within the 30 days allowed

I finally figured it out. Rumors of the iPhone coming to the Verizon network is coming from Verizon just to keep the customers from leaving them and signing up with AT&T.

Here is a more accurate prediction:

WE know:

1. Verizon has shown spyshots of its sim card as of dec 2010

2. All 4G towers are running as of jan 2011

So, In Jan 2011, an iphone for verizon will come out, it will initially

be 3G connectivity, but by 2012 will have 4g networking.

Verizon Wireless will NOT annouce an LTE iPhone on "December 5, 2010". Mr. Seidenberg [Verizon CEO] is expected to unveil a number of such 4G devices at CES in January, and said he expects the first phone to come out in February. If VZW accounces an LTE iPhone, it would be in January at CES. Tradionally, Steve Jobs annouces thier new products at Apple's key notes. Plus VZW already had their press release for LTE.

haha i like how ur honesty my man.. but see i jus went to a verizon store and i talked to one of the employees there.. he told me that its jus rumors about the iphone... he said reason why is cuz AT&T will lose more than 85% of their customers becuz verizon has a better network and it would be on 4g.. if u really think about it that is true cuz AT&T does suck ass lol ... but for now i really dont know what to believe .. ive jus been hearing different answers. so yea i hope ur right man.

I wouldn't stake my reputation on it, but based on Apple's ability to keep a secret (very good) and the need for Verizon to launch their 4G with a splash, if Verizon could coincide these events, they would. We know that Verizon & Apple would both benefit from the relationship (AT&T sucks! and Verizon lacks a Facetime-like solution. I think it's quite likely!
