you can connect a bass amp head Ampeg Heritage Series SVT-CL 2011 300W Tube Bass Amp Head in 2 subwoofer Mackie HD1801 Powered Subwoofers 1600 watts each. instead of a cabinet?
or Ampeg SVT-4 PRO Series Bass Head 1200 watts in 2 mackie subwoofers 1600 watts each? cause I have the mackies but I need a bass for our system the can be possible?
Wow, looking amazig those techniques! Can you help me out with something?
I have some slight problems with positioning my fingers correctly on the fingerboard. I always get a bit confused if i should curl my fingers (not touching the other strings) or let them flat, resting on the other strings.. Got some advice for me?
I just bought the video... I just got the video in the mail... I am just learning to play, I am having a hard time keeping up with the the tuner in the corner... I suppose this video is someone who already has some knowledge base?
@McmurfKillz It's a bass instructional DVD to demonstrate and show bass players how to play. If you feel the piano player could exert more effort, then that means the piano player did the right job. If you are demonstrating a BASS DVD for BASS players, then you don't want the piano player to steal the show. I played like that, because it's not a piano DVD. It's a Bass DVD!
@alvicious yes, but then some would pay attention to the pianist (Jamal) instead of the bassist (Ivan) on a DVD meant to teach something to bass players. If the whole band played tight, then it would be a jam session. Lol.
The bass guitarist is really good i am trying to do it right now

I would like to see the piano player put some more effort into the way that he plays
Not trying to put anyone down in any way, but you waste your talent playing like that

@GospelMusicians thats a lame excuse. if you really want teh bass to sound great then the whole band should play as tight and with it as possible.

I like how he went down on the 4 instead of going up an octave. I usually go up an octave; now I can go down and give it a different feel.
