I can relate. I had a 2003 Mustang GT (silver with black leather). 5-speed manual, stage 1 Roush clutch, aftermarket mufflers (stock exhaust), and I think it was chipped or had a pre-programmed tune. Some girl was in a Honda Civic and her cell phone was more important than the road. I hit a concrete crash wall doing around 55 MPH. I WALKED AWAY. Mustangs are surprisingly good in a accident compared to some sports cars. Your are lucky it wasn't a higher speed front end impact, as the Convertibles have a tendancy to have the front windshield drop down several inches and clip the driver/passenger head if it is fast enough. Just watch the IIHS Offset crash and you will see what I mean.
