  • If these were not my motivations to condemn Astarjian's speech and Armenian nationalism, its filthy, patronizing and degoratory stance towards my people would do. Astarjian, and his nationalist supporters, think under the premise of Armenian supremacism and view Kurds as an inferior people. We do not experience 'sleepless nights' from Armenian nationalists, since we know exactly how things are, because from a Kurdish perspective, the infermities of Armenian nationalism are overly apparent.

  • This fact is supported by a report by Strabo: “According to report, Armenia, though a small country in earlier times, was enlarged by Artaxias and Zariadris, who formerly were generals of Antiochus the Great,” Jewish sources also point out that Ararat was located in former Corduene(Kurdistan). Considering this, the presence of some churches and further cultural impact becomes totally irrelevant. The ways Armenians define their ancestral lands to are sly and deceitful and will not get past me.

  • In his(and all the other Armenian nationalists) total claim over eastern anatolia, Astarjian has also put up a daring campaign of ignoring Kurdish indigenousity to these lands. Being the only direct descendants of the Hurrians, we posess a genetic continuity in the area which precedes the Armenian's by far, who themselves are migrants in origin, and thus are secondary inhabitants in terms of nativeness. Not to mention the fact that Van was actually a mere (proto-)Armenian conquest.

  • As a Kurd, I find Astarjian's speech and overall stance towards my nation to be utterly insulting, patronizing and degoratory. He alters and shapes historical facts in such a fashion that they support his filthy theories: such as the notion that the Kurdish 'civilians' participated in- and are responsible for the genocide. This is utter bullshit, since the Kurdish genocidal participation consisted of irregulars and ex-convicts. Both groups did not belong to the Kurdish nationalist curriculum.

  • 5*****

    STOP Denying the Armenian Genocide.

  • The reason why Armenian Genocide hasn't been recognized in United States is because very small percentage of Armenians are involved in Armenian Organizations such as ANCA. Most Armenians in CA do not care about contributing their time to this cause.

  • Thanks for this video.Denialists are criminals.

  • @satothequeen This guy is a "geriatric" who does not know what he is talking about

  • @outsidelight1

You are free to think what you want. Even a ill or crazy man can to say his opinion.

It will haven't any relevance. Just truth matter. And the truth can't be hidden, and also, the truth never get's old!

  • @satothequeen Yes truth matters. This isn't "truth." It is a partisan and parochial view driven by ideology. Just the fact that he addressed the Kurdish "Parliament" in exile demonstrate this- talk about strange bedfellows! Clearly he doesn't know history and his "moral compass" is swinging about in true "geriatric" fashion. Does he think that the PKK will share eastern Turkey? Do we call it Armenia, Kurdistan or just Absurdistan

  • Great, wise man, telling as it is.

    Denialists are criminals.

  • thank you for sher with me and all Armenian of the world,
