@haagierules i think tenor has a great tone and doesn't feel so much like a toy to me. i started off practicing with a soprano, and it was fine in the beginning because i didn't know any better. once i upgraded, it was a noticeable difference and i wouldn't go back.

Awesome! ... what type of tuner do you use? Mine seems to go out of tune all the time and it isn't a cheap touristy one...Bought mine at Scotty's Music in Kauai... entry level model, but it has a nice sound.

@dadornta i use a korg electronic tuner. it's pretty good. if you're going out of tune often, maybe you just need to break the strings in a little more. or maybe your tuners need to be tightened or something.

when i first started playing, i think i would have cried myself to sleep trying to play this. definitely a more advance strum, and it took a little while to get used to singing and playing even with my experience. there's another video you can watch of a german guy in a white shirt i think. his strum is a little toned down, but he got 1 chord wrong on the chorus. other than that, might be easier to follow

yeah i agree with diezo, this is a pretty difficult song, i noticed that in order for me to start really putting the vocals into a song i have to be able to play it without really concentrating very hard on it...it takes time.

you have to get the strumming down really well, so it's a physically automatic thing. then you can sing over it pretty easily
