I really like your stoves, I have created quite a few, experimenting trying to find the one that works best for me. the issue is that I use a guyot design bottle and I done want to cary and extra pot stand. I need the stove to fit on top of the guyot in the 10 x 4 bag from maxpedition
It does look like a sputnik. I wish it had a screw cap on the reservoir and cap where the line hooks so you don't have to keep emptying out the unused fuel.
I love the direction your prototypes are taking you. Do you have any stats on the , weight, boil time, burn time? I also noticed a yellow flame, can you get a blue flame?
it looks like a Bunsen burner from a chemistry class . p.s i have a choke hazard . no problems with spills or fire, just get it to lay flat before you put fuel in it . common sense i guess.
just a quick one to say how about puting the resevoir into a cup with slot cut into it for the tube to pass through and then welded to a tent peg ,,,,then becomes adjustable....just a thought buddy??
please tinny please release this design its awesome!! i would buy one even though i already receiving a huge order of stuff from you. gotta love spring fever
Don't be fooled ! he's just editing out the fire that exploaded about 30 seconds into it ............. ok I'm just lie'n Its gr8 Tinny you da man, keep up the good work !
no fire hazard they have to be plan stupid and have no fire safety but i do think for the way you pour in it great but if the stray could be hooked to the bottle then you would have butter and faster clean up i think you should design your own line of bottles that have a place to store the stove and quickly and easily remove
Tinny is there a way to have the resevior on a removeable spike so you could quickly adjust heigth in soil. This would allow for faster level heigth adjustment in the field. The burner is on spikes great idea the resevior is so light one single spike would be perfect .
I bought one of the stoves that has a tube resevior feed move the stove a little and the tube has torque enough to tweak the resevior causing spills solution spike the resevior then your set up is easy as placing a toothpick in a ruben if you are in soft enough soil. I can make one myself it is just a hint to make it state of the art. Like my giant mountian bike I can assemble and disassemble it under a minute removing tires seat adjusting brakes in that short amount of time bike is 40 lbs.Lovit
I will buy one of these the day they come out. Could you seal the fuel chamber with a lid? That would seem to remove all danger of a fire from a spill or what ever. That was the big reason I got a black fly three. I roasted my had while light a stove I and decide buying one from you was smarter
I like this setup. Not sure about the extra resevoir but that was a nice sesign

its not a fire hasard because there is not oxygen in the line.

I'd call it the Sputnik, I think it's fitting (I'm not saying your stoves are communist)

unlike the the CH stove it dosent need gravity to feed fuel, it works like a oil wick lamp or a BF 4 stove sipping fuel as it needs it !!!.

WOW.... I like it. You come up with some great ideas. Looks safer than a lot of other stoves out there. I'm with you remote filling is the way to go.
