Yes, actually, I was 'seriously' bullied and was physically assaulted back in the day resulting in several people being suspended over a period of several years. After awhile I got tired of it and realized I could stay there and feel oppressed the rest of my life or I could get over it and realize that those people are the ones who have issues and need help. After that they stopped bothering me.
But I did change the situation by changing myself. Believe me, it didn't happen overnight. I went through a lot of crap for many years but over time I developed a strong network of friends by just being myself. Truth be told it got a lot easier in college with meeting a bunch of new people.
nt you must've done obviously well to come through what you did,being bullied is no easy feat and no easy escape.I think if you are lucky to get through high school then thing's may change,but the emotional scars are there forever for many which lead on to depression etc.
My goal was to reinvent myself in college and be who I finally want to be, so that's what I did. Yeah, it's definitely easier said than done, but I would definitely prefer to deal with emotional scars over staying stuck where I was. I'm not perfect and I deal with it, and its good to have understanding friends.

I live in chicago and with the Tech and NIU shootings everyone is on edge and someone is treating a shooting at SXU and Malcom X college. Both schools are close to each other and are in chicago. This is starting to get scary now. Can we just get an education in peace PLEASE.
This was a tragedy that could've been prevented had Virginia Tech honored the second amendment and allowed law abiding citizens there right to bear arms, clearly the Campus security there failed and could've reduced the number of casualties

Im so ashamed because I was considered or associated as one of those kids that shoots up schools. They tackled me in my boxers the next morning and treated me like I was going to shoot up the whole school. Every school has hyper-anxiety around this issue. We knew there was a shooting--I heard some shots that may have been the police in the distance while outside walking a few minutes earlier-- and that we were in lock down, none of us knew how bad it was. Obviously anytime you see a bunch of cops driving by, it's something unusual.
The first day of school a convict was running around the area and they locked us down and brought a ton of cops out. At the time of this video I thought it was something like that, and that the only person dead probably was the shooter himself. I filmed it for my blog because it seemed like a significant event, and in a way cool. Who doesn't love cop cars speeding by? The mood obviously changed within an hour or two after.
Some of us were sitting in class and its was the craziest thing just hearing siren after siren, after siren going buy, it was constant for 15 minutes!

You really think banning guns would be the way to solve the problems? Then what happens when gang members and drug dealers still get guns from over the boarder, then we're defenseless. I wanted to say i feel for everyone that has lost their life at all campus shooting. It brings me to tears every time i watch anything about these shooting, but now it is getting out of control with the treats. I live in chicago and with the Tech and NIU shootings everyone is on edge and someone is treating a shooting at SXU and Malcom X college. Both schools are close to each other and are in chicago. This is starting to get scary now. Can we just get an education in peace PLEASE.

Kids that faked the "Im sick" or hooked school were lucky as fuck that day.
My brother just got shot at when he was walking home from a school foot ball game. Thank God he is alright.
One kid took some cash to school and got jumped pretty bad for it, to the point where he can't hear any more.

I pointed a BB gun at a girl when I was in college when I was incredibly drunk and totally unintentional. Im so ashamed because I was considered or associated as one of those kids that shoots up schools. They tackled me in my boxers the next morning and treated me like I was going to shoot up the whole school. Every school has hyper-anxiety around this issue. They kicked me out immediately, almost got assault with a deadly weapon (bb gun). I dont really remember doing it b/c I was drunk..

We knew there was a shooting--I heard some shots that may have been the police in the distance while outside walking a few minutes earlier-- and that we were in lock down, none of us knew how bad it was. Obviously anytime you see a bunch of cops driving by, it's something unusual.

The first day of school a convict was running around the area and they locked us down and brought a ton of cops out. At the time of this video I thought it was something like that, and that the only person dead probably was the shooter himself. I filmed it for my blog because it seemed like a significant event, and in a way cool. Who doesn't love cop cars speeding by? The mood obviously changed within an hour or two after.

You really think banning guns would be the way to solve the problems? Then what happens when gang members and drug dealers still get guns from over the boarder, then we're defenseless. I just don't see the logic behind allowing guns in an educational institution. Not only would fights lead to shootings before punchings, but we're talking about college kids who consume rivers of alcohol.
I would rather feel safe knowing guns are banned with that 1% chance of a shooting than on edge all the time knowing / not knowing if my classmates have guns on them that they could take easily take out anytime anywhere. Stating strict licensing isn't enough anymore after NIU.

I think the kids who survived at cloumbine are much more luckier than VT kids but they are still lucky. My reasoning is that Columbine is so small and VT is so big. My prayers go with every person that died in both massecres accept for for three the killers.

The purpose of the second Amendment is to have an armed population, an armed citizenry. The entire Constitution is to limit the powers of the government and protect those of the individual citizen. If the citizens are armed, they can resist a tyrannical government. That is the purpose of the 2nd amendment...not to hunt with. You dumbass.

You can't compare the UK and the US, we have different problems. We do have gun laws, but almost all the gun crimes are committed with an illegal gun anyway. There is no way to prevent a situation like this from occurring. We are proud of the freedoms we have, and are glad and live in the best country in the world.
