when we went to ride flight deck a couple weeks ago, while we were waiting in line the guy who was checking the restraints said " Enjoy your ride on flight deck which used to have a cool name but now it doesn't" and you can clearly see in the middle of the control panel of backlot stunt coaster it still says italian job
awww i misss when paramount owned this also seein the rugrats and all them. bring back memmories when i was a lil girl lol. the new way is good though too
WTF they still have gold passes and platnum passes and season passes and so on and so on I hate cedar fair I liked the old days when PAramount owned it
No screw Cedar Fair changing Memories is what they are doing I still go to kings island it brings back memories but Cedar Fair is screwing them up just ask everyone else kings island was better off with Paramount
Good riddance. Paramount screwed the park up. They made no capital investments, they made no deals with current ride companies, and their parks were saftey disastars.
god i hate that ceder point owns it now. i like things how they were. the old things like scooby doo and phantom theater and fliunstones, liked it beter when the son of beast had the loop. i like thte old days at kings island...paramounts kings island. BYE PARAMOUNTS...WE'LL MISS YOU!! im just like that. i l;ike things to be like it was in my childhood
son of beast was a safety hazard... the company that made it is BEING SUED!
I don't know how Kings Island was but Kings Dominon had no money go into it. they cut hours to the point the park was getting run down. they never did repairs ... paramount viewed the parks as nothing to them... Yes things have changed but cedarfair is doing great things for kings dominon and taking care of the park unlike paramount...
No way! Paramount took much better care of kings island... Now their just adding new roller coasters. Not that that's a problem but their not caring about family rides any more! They even shut down the band organ!
I forgot to say that it was a very nice video. You did a great job and it does show some of the positive ends that Paramount brought but in my view it was just much better before they came in.
I so wish that Paramount never got into the parks. Before Paramount Kings Island was what I thought was the best park outside of Disney. Today I do not even want to go to it. You will see my family at Hersheypark, Dollywood or Bush parks. Cedar Fair needs to bring back the family to the parks. Provide quality shows for one thing like Kings Entertainment did for all the years they had the parks!
The gold passes were season passes that had "special privilages" such as closer parking, reserved seating on rides with a special gold pass line that let gold pass holders on before everyone else so anyone that didn't have a gold pass was left to wait and wait. The only option was to buy a gold pass yourself and pay $100.00, I just hope now that Cedar point owns it that they turn the park into an amusement park, not a money hungry "abusement" park....
thanks god! They ruined the park with their price gouging and greed. When Taft Broadcasting owned from 1972-1992 they cared about family's and wanted them to have a good time at an affordable price. They even closed the park when it was filled to capacity. Paramount was so money hungry they would let the park fill up to where you couldn't move and you would only be able to ride 3 rides in one visit because the lines were so long, and don't get me started about the Gold Passes...
I think the park was best even before Paramount. Shows were great as well as great rides. I fear it will never be the same.
