isn't that the crash that resulted in him getting stitches in both knees? yeh, then he went on to blow up on a mountain stage due to doping and get kicked off the tour.

i was such a huge fan of his until then. now i hope he never comes back to cycling.

yeh, i was just reading about him online and saw his ban ends July 24.

phil ligette said yesterday that he heard Vino was hoping to ride with Astan next year and "take over leadership." riiiight. if he joins Astan i bet a lot of other guys on the team will go elsewhere. his 1 year ban pissed a lot of people off, he should've gotten 2 years like everyone else.

He is not the rider he used to be although he's still pretty good. Don't know what position he finished in but he attacked pretty hard on the last lap. To quote the Swedish commentators; "Well, this is a rider i do not want to win this race".

49 mph in that sprint, what gearing are they using? 53/11 is spun out whenever I go that fast downhill.

i wish i could head butt al trout head..i fiest saw him doing the 1989 tour de france he called them bikers...i dispise him..he cannot say the names of the riders right and he has had nearly 20 years to get this right and he cant..he stinks, why dont they just leave it to paul and phil why do they have to have al;s idiotic commentary?
