i could have done better. the products are decent for the price, but the whole thing seemed rather messy. i really feel that the makeup artist isnt that great at what she does, and the models presentation could have been way better. everything the makeupartist did is EVERYTHINGYOUR NOT SUPPOSE TO DO in my opinion.

why is everyone bashing e.l.f? she did a basic smokey eye, which i think she did a great job on. the only thing bad so the mascara because it made her lashes look crooked. but she did a good job, and they're trying to help people create a look thats affordable, instead of having to go buy expensive products like MAC and what not. be more appreciative of them making these videos.

im no expert but this is 1 sad video. if i did not know how great elf products were i would not buy them from this video..lighting aside, the artist is horrible. ive seen youngins apply make-up on here way better...smh...i hope elf is reading our comments

i love elf, but i really think this girl does not know how to put on the makeup on the model...she seems so unsteady, and doesn't do smooth lines!

@heybuddie2010 Yea their liquid eyeliners smell really strong. I works ok but I couldnt get over the smell. Loreals liquid eyeliner is really really good its a felt tip and easy to control...works nice and really black.

@heybuddie2010 Sometimes I get the weird smell on some of the products and sometimes I don't. Like one time I bought the lip conditioner and it smelled lemon pledge. I tried it for the first time and got a bad headache.

i have lots of their products but the eyeshadow sucks unless u order the palete then it works very well.. dont ever buy the eyeliners they dont work at all it pokes my eyes alot...and the liquid eyeliner STinks really bad. the mascara stink n doesnt work...the only thing i like about elf is the eyelashes... I PERFER COASTAL SCENTS.. way much better..

I agree with the eyeliner bit. I find their eyeliner a bit hard/pokey for my liking.

I recently did a review on their *new* cream eyeliners and they are quite nice! I love them. You should check it out :)

The mineral primer also works alright, but the packaging/wand makes the product squirt out when you're trying to put the cap back on :(

Anyway, I love ELF either way. :)

Come ON! elf has so many better products. like all the studio line ones. Im sorry, but most ppl will not b intrigued by these products used in the video bcuz they have seen ones like that at the drugstore. Big whoop. But have they seen the hd powder, the eyeshadow transformer, the cream eyeliner, the lip plumper and primer, or the spf 45 powder all packaged in the sleek black packagin? NO! hit them w the good stuff, elf!

The finished look actually turned out pretty nice despite the application. For the naysayers, keep in mind that E.L.F. is a lower end brand and isn't to be compared to stuff like MAC and MUFE. For the price, e.l.f. is spectacular.

Don't know if ELF has posted a tutorial for the individual lashes, but would love to see one of those. They look so much more natural but I have more trouble applying them than I do the strips.

from experience, i know putting on makeup on others is a bit harder than putting on makeup on ourselves, but i can see here achelle obviously doesnt want to hurt her model and she is not struggling at all!

Im not really sure why ELF has a blending brush int he $1 line that is actually pretty good, I use mine all the time. But they never use it in their videos for blending!!

This is nice but its not complete and looks kinda messy. It would have looked more complete if you would have blended the harsh line out and put a highlight. With out a highlight her eye has no definition. If you would have completed the whole face this would be a awesome video.

I personally think that this needs to be redone, but I mean that in the nicest way possible. This video obviously shows the effort put into it, but it could be overall better. The look itself is a bit messy and the eyeliner and mascara needs to be more carefully applied. But of course, like anything, this is merely my own opinion on the video. Seasons greetings!!
