lol There's no "rules" for owning this amp. I have a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier and owned this with lots of other gear. It was just for shits and giggles. Have it for fun, practice, or whatever the hell you want it for. :)
they are 80$ and u can get a 15wat spyder 3 line 6 for that(ive seen them for that price) so its just for when u go like on vacation to a hotel or something and want to practice guitar but dont want to bring a huge amp
yh 4 example,if ur going round a m8s house to jam but he lives like the other side of town, its alot easier tocarry one of these than lets say my other amp, which is a mg30dfx which is 2 heavy. also i can tell you its perfect for camping holidays, cos u can playguitar around the campfire :D
i highly reccomend this amp to anyone who wants a nice overdrive control for a low cost.
BUT... i have a problem! My amp is like, blown or something, whenever i change my overdrive up to like 2, all you can hear is distortion, and no guitar! After changing overdrive to anything higher than 4, then i still get that cruddy sound when i turn it to 0. I'm left overdriveless and musically helpless. HELP PLZ!!! :(
I strongly suggest that anoyne buy this amp, begginer or pro or whatever. I got it for my 13th birthday, and i loved it to pieces, and now i have the full micro mini stack.
I sold this awhile back so I'm not 100% sure. I remember you have to bring the gain up almost all the way, treble/bass need to be at about 3 o'clock and the mids about 9 o'clock. Try that out. Make sure the batteries are good, you have pretty good pickups in your guitar and the cord isn't loose. Hope it helps.
the only problem about mini akmps is they dont hyave any reverb like on all amps they programmed it to ive soemr everb cause without it its just a piece of crap that has sound coming out of it
You should edit what you said... It's kind of hard to understand your point. All amps don't have reverb though. I've owned several Peavey heads and currently have a Mesa Dual Rectifier and none of them have had reverb. If it's absolutely necessary for ya, I'd say just buy a nice reverb pedal. :)
i dont mena it to fatten the sound wat i mean is this amp needs some reverb not a reverb control but some internal reverb because u need a small echo to make it sound better
As I've mentioned to another user, they're not going to be a JCM series Marshall or anything but for the size and the advantage of carrying it around it's decent. IMO it sounds like a 2-watt MG Marshall. Also, I don't think the MS-2 has a gain control. Good Luck.
They're alright. I mean for something portable with gain and clean tones that has I think 2 watts, it's descent. If you played the Marshall MG series, it has a some what similar tone.. Good Luck.
this is the only video about this amp where it actually sounds good....

Sure. It will get the job done if you're just jammin in a small group or area. If you want something louder look at the Roland Micro Cube. Good luck!

Here's a really simple rule to answer your question. If it has an input you can plug a pedal into it.

Can you hook it up to your belt so you can walk around? like some of the other amps?
