  • Speaking as a true local (well, since 1976 and thats about as local as you can get) I love living and workinghere. People save up all year just to spend a few days here. I am lucky enough to be here 365. Sometimes I forget about enjoying what the area has to offer (life gets in the way). Just this past weekend my daughter and I packed a picnic and went down to watch the waves. It was a beautiful display of mother nature along with giving us time to talk away from TV's and internet.

  • destin sucks....theres nothing to do here, I have lived here all my life and the beach is in my backyard....literally and i never go to it lol
