I believe in God, but I think a lot of people who are not religious do not even realize that those two words were added to the pledge years later, so their kids shouldn't have to say it. 5:3 tells of Adam lived 130 years before he begot Seth. Cain, Abel & others were before Seth.
C5:2 tells of God creating them male and female calling them also Adam in the day of Adam.

Theism is belief in a God; where the word God is a synonym for deity. it is an affirmative claim and therefore requires evidence.

The definition of atheists is loosely defined at best anyway. Once you establish the clear definition, then you can sync it to any numbers you feel like.
