@PBANDSNOW The les paul models usually weigh over 9 lbs. I don't know about the chambered models, but a 1959 V.O.S. les paul would make you feel tired in less than 15 minutes(standing up) of non-stop playing if you don't have the muscle to handle its weight.

Holy macaroni the gibson les paul classic is a rock idol. Fantastic tone. The Gibson les paul traditional as well...sounded almost like the les paul classic, don't know which one's better though. They're both Great guitars.

I just bought a Gibson Flying V second-hand. It's white with a black pickguard, but the neck/headstock is in natural wood finish. It was reported to also be a 68 reissue and the previous owner said it was only a year or so old. Is there any way to be sure?
