i'm sorry to disturb, but i have a little problem and i hope you give me a solution:
I have TX2-1055ee and I Formatted it all (windows Vista an all) and installed a new Windows 7 (32 bit though), i was wondering, WHERE is my multi touch features? Must I have 64 bit win 7 or what? PLEASE give me an answer, thanks
Hi..You can find the Multi-Touch driver for Windows 7 on n-trig web site. The driver on N-Trig web site is RC edition. But It can run in Windows 7 RTM.
If you have Ram more than 3GB, I will suggest you to install X64. And Then you can run with more than 3GB RAM.
thanks a lot for your reply, I really appreciate it, but the problem that I only have 2 GB ram, so i don't need the 64 and i already installed 32bit windows and it's cool, but the N-trig website only offer the driver for 64 windows.... :S..
any way, really i can't thank you enough for replying, thanks :D
i would like to buy one but i use autocad, matlab, photshop so i wanna know if this computer can support these kind of programs very well like my corel 2 duo computer
great video!what happened to the software your using before windows 7?does dual OS really works?and is this the only hp tx that can support windows 7?thanks for the infos
Thanks for your reply. I didn't use dual OS.I used vista x86 before.and then I used Windows 7 beta x86. And now I install the Windows 7 RC Edition.I think every computer can install Windows 7, But Olny Tx2 can use Multi-Touch for HP NB,Now. Unfortrunally, I can't find Multi-Touch Driver for Windows 7 RC Edition.(Only for beta now). That's my experience for windows 7 using HP NB TX2. share for you and my friends.
Hi, i have a tx2z and plan on installing windows 7 on it. what drivers did you use to get muti-touch working because I read on many forums that multi-touch for 64-bit windows 7 is not functioning correctly. any help is greatly appreciated. thanks
Unfortunately, no driver now for 64-bit windows7. There is a 32-bit edition. I download it from n-trig web site. But it was been removed, recently.I guess that maybe it will change the new one. The driver 32-bit is without pen function. After you install it, you can use more than 2 fingers.but you will lost pen function. If you need this driver, you can leave your email, and I will send you the address on my skydirve.
the pinch is stupid on this thing

hi, thanks for your response
unfortunately, i tried to login to the download page with the login provided:
Account: HP_TX2
Pass: win7
and it did not allow me to login. Do you mind just posting up the x64 drivers for me for Windows 7 RC x64 bit?
It would be greatly appreciated! thank!

4Gig RAM does only work with 64Bit. As far as I read in forums.
So its better to take the future-ready-version^^
