Control knobs aside how do you think this compares to the AC15cc tonally?
Just to compare apples with apples how does the "gain" side compare with the AC15cc(which I have)?
I find the AC15cc gets some nice touch response and sponginess when you dime the master and set the gain to 5 or more.
The Frenzel offers both normal and TB channels so that really appeals to me.

I haven't played an AC15 but ...
The normal Channel in the Frenzel is different to the normal channel in an AC30. Its bright with less bass then the Boost channel more useable clean then an AC30's.
The boost channel has alot of gain on tap (I don't mean its high gain more that the output of that channel is very high so you have to keep the gain very low to be clean especially with NNFB engaged.
Overall I think you can get 90% of AC15 clean tones but it takes pedals better and is more versatile.
