  • All the lexuses are boring.

  • @imw5362 I sadly agree, except I would much rather own this car than any BMW, Audi, Mercedes or any other brand because it is highly practical.

  • @imw5362 Because it doesn't handle like a BMW? Or ride like a Mercedes-Benz? And for the record, its not "lexuses" its Lexi (Lex-i). Another question: Have you even driven a Lexus? I would rather ride comfortable than have the road tear my back up.

  • you are so big and you make the lexus look small! What did they feed you?!?

  • Straight up boss car.

  • I was next to one of these full size Lexus yesterday,I didn't hear it start and I couldn't tell if it was running, dead quiet. Very impressive.

  • is this the biggest lexus sedan?

  • @marky2112 yeah it's LS460 L

  • @marky2112 yes

  • @DC7544 200,000 what? Dollars?

  • @jamestaggreen2 he means miles on the odometer, assuming he doesn't mean kilometers

  • @colenbrak cooley...

  • personally i have never heard anyone call a lexus ugly

  • the 2007-present Lexus LS is assembled in

    Tahara, Aichi, Japan

  • Can somebody tell me how much this car costs?

  • @DariuschWT 80's

  • Lexus LS460 aka Toyota Celisor. I'm glad Lexus has finally slowed down on mocking Mercedes S-Class. I hate the fact that it uses so many Toyota switches and buttons. Why is he complaining about the iDrive and COMAND, EVERYONE says its extremely simple. Only the simple minded can't use technology. Besides 7-Series sold 65,701 just in 2010 while LS sold 10,890 in 2010. No one wants a Toyota in over-priced clothing.

  • Ohhk & it's an overpriced Toyota.......

  • @MegaBlackberryuser stop being a troll

  • @MegaBlackberryuser - Amen. Toyota LS460!

  • @MegaBlackberryuser dude thats not overpriced you dont find a 70k $ car with all those features and it is japanese it will go all over to 400k miles without a engine problem

  • Too bland not that many interior colors. You get black, grey, tan that's it. Not like BMW were you have cinnamon brown, black novillo fox red leather.....

  • اللهم ارزقني وارزق مني آمين

  • i LOOOOOOVE it. this would be my DREAM Car. but not so crazy about the Parking Assist. leave that for Paris Hilton.!

    thanks for the review.

  • best car i ever seen

  • This lexus is truly an amazing vehicle, I mean it still looks fresh even today, good job lexus!

  • Mercedes Benz Wikipedia: "Also known as: Cars for octogenarian. Mercedes Benz is German carmaker very popular in Europe among gypsy and funeral honours:The S-Class is very easy to convert in hearse".

  • Again: you want the most sexy sport sedan in his class? get the new 2012 GS, you want the most boring design ever? get an audi a6 (the last model is totally similar to the older in the side view in fact looks more a restyling and not an all new model).

  • I lost my trust in german cars after 4 bmw's 3 series (2 E36, 1 E46, 1 E90) and after broke two times the automatic transmission of my father audi a6 3.0TDi. Then i got that german cars are loved by people who know very little about cars. You want a brand? buy german, you want quality and reliability? buy japanese. That's it.

  • boring body design really!!!!!! feel like mom comfty shoes!

  • the most sexy luxury sedan

  • the most sexy luxury sedan

  • the mos sexy luxury sedan

  • lexxx is hot !!!!!!!!

  • The styling is still ridiculously bland... and a little too curvacious. It's nice, but the only thing it has over Mercedes/BMW/Audi is the reliability.

  • @scaremengaviation you suck big time: the most bland sedan is the audi a8: looks like a big a4, totally ridicule as the larger part of audi line up (same borign design for every model), and what about 7 series? just an ugly copy of the LS (back end and tailights), Mercedes S looks like a poor Maybach (wich is never been a sexy car)

  • @76Brancaleone I suck big time? Care to explain exactly what reinforces that notion? Because the styling cues that these four brands choose to go after aren't chosen by me. You can go on being a little Lexus fanboy, believing that they have style, when really all they have is reliabilty. Look at the inside. Look at the outside. Keep on eating the crap Lexus feeds you. The truth is that you pay more for a Merc/Bimmer/Audi because you get more. Period.

  • @scaremengaviation What you from Audi? an overpriced VW very oversteering? Lexus chassis with rear traction is waaaay better than audi wich basically is a front traction. By the way I work in an import export dealership in italy and I dirve very often german cars so for experience I can tell that those cars are very overrated and source of many electrical problems especially after few months, as the exemplars that we sell, usually 6 months old.

  • @IwantaLexusLFA If you work for a dealership, you would know that German cars are almost always not as reliable as their Japanese counter-parts, no?

  • @scaremengaviation You're a bit retarded also because you lost the last news: Lexus with his new 2012 GS is becoming the new 5 series (fun to drive, precision, steering feedback etc) instead bmw's lost his legendary joy to drive and the last 5 series is an example: more comfortable and less precise than the older E60. I don't consider, eventually Benz and Audi, those cars are for older 60 years old europeans.

  • @IwantaLexusLFA Whatever. I still THINK that the 5-series, and it's German rivals, have "better" styling cues than the Lexus GS, new or old. That's what I think, and what's better to me might not be better for you, and that's why Lexus, Infiniti, Audi, BMW, etc. exist. To make everybody happy. As for retarded, you can't blame me for not following Lexus, because my username isn't "IwantaLexusLFA", or anything indicative of a following for cars. But that lack of insight means nothing, on ur part.

  • My favourite luxury sedan.

  • Wonderful review..and so right on when he says there are complicated controls. It shouldn't take you more than a few seconds to find your favorite radio station..good luck doing that in a BMW with iDrive.

  • no really check the friggin price again

  • thousand your nuts check that again please

  • my dad has one and they are awsome

  • how much is this car

    reply back

  • @jsschipp4 100-112

  • The LS is better in every way thinkable, these are luxury cars so they must be smooth, refined, comfortable etc.. And the LS does that the best.. In fact the LS is so comfortable, quiet and silent that they had to compare it to a rolls royce, and Lexus LS wonRolls Royce

  • I've owned a 2004 Lexus LS430 for about 4 years and have driven it 55,000 miles with no change of brake pads and not one repair. I also own a Merceds 400E that has done nothing but give me trouble: frequent brake pad replacements at $300 a pop, replaced $3000 computer, there's not enough space here to detail all the problems. I drive it as little as possible now; the Lexus is SO MUCH better engineered. I will NEVER buy another Mercedes. The Lexus is every bit the car people say it is.

  • @UPWARD05 I'm in the same boat. I own an S-Class MB and the repairs are murder. Now, when everything works it is a wonderful car..but the problem is the repairs are too often and too expensive. Luckily I found an independent certified MB mechanic who charges half what the dealer does (you need to find one too), but still, it's expensive.

My next car will def be a Lexus LS. Sad MB doesn't step up to the plate and build reliability and better quality the way Lexus does.

  • Japanese Towncar...

  • @MADSEEN2009 Thats much more stylish, updated, modern, fun to drive and more advanced. The town car is crap. It doesn't compete with anything anymore.

  • @etoyotarockshsucks think about it, if your here in the U.S. , of course your going to call it a crap car, the Towncar. You should see how the Mercedes S class gets treated in Europe or the BMW7 Series , they are looked at has the Towncar is looked at here.. BUT as an American, I wouldn't knock the Lincoln Towncar, how many people actually own a Lexus LS 460 ?? BUT how many People own a Lincoln Towncar?? 100s of 1000s more people own a towncar than a LS 460, am talking here in the U.S.

  • @MADSEEN2009 Please don't be as stubborn as a rock ford loyalist, I like recent fords, but really, this does not compete with the town car. My neighbor across the street has an ls460 l so your'e wrong yet again.

  • @etoyotarockshsucks ok thats YOUR neighbor, i Live in Brooklyn, NY, i see ALOT of towncars, LS460s are even used as livery cabs here in NY, so are BMW 7 Series n so on.. but mostly Towncars. but for me Audi A8 is where is at!!!

  • @MADSEEN2009 Thats mostly because town cars are the cheapest, the audi a8 is nice to but ive been in an ls460l and it was rrrrrrealy nice.

  • THE TELIOS CHROME WHEELS ARE AMAZING FOR THIS CAR. I FOUND SOME ON EBAY FOR 600 BUCKS AND THE MSRP IS 2,000!

  • Lexus are underated

I dont see why everyone always hate on them

  • @TheVtieg6 because they are on top...the best selling luxury brand in the US

  • @rsxzx6r

The problem is: Lexus is nothing outside the US. They've to step up their game if they want to become a true worldwide player in the luxury segment.

  • @luisinhoens90 that because lexus was only marketed in the US...only recently have they decided 2 bring the brand to other countries...even japan didnt have lexus....but under the toyota badge it sold well...hence the reason toytota was number 1..they didnt sell it under the lexus brand ...but under toyota

  • @luisinhoens90 yea but theyre everything in the U.S. ,,and thats all that counts.

  • @lexyota

Your clearly unbiased words made my day.

  • nice review!

  • can anyone tell me if these come in awd?

  • A complaint I have about this car is there is only one DVD player in the back and it's in the middle. This means you can't watch two separate movies(in S-class and 7-series there are two DVD players in the back that is integrated to the head rest) and you have to tilt your head which can be very uncomfortable on long trips. This is a excellent car for the money, and it's reliable. You can just take it to a Toyota dealer to get it fixed, which saves lots of money. I still prefer the S-class.

  • True Luxury and class in design does not load a bunch of things in the car, but to place it well. S-Class interiors look like its from the 1970's. Embarrassing.

  • You cannot say this car is better than the MB S-class or better than BMW 7-series. It's subjective. It really depends on the person. I personally think the exterior of this car is nothing special. I like the exterior of S-class and 7-series better. The back seats are very nice but the front of the interior is nothing special in my opinion. It looks similar to cheaper Lexus models. A BMW easily beats this car in performance and Mercedes-Benz easily beats this car in safety.

  • Nobody said the LS460 is better than the MB S-Class. Save your comments for MB and BMW. This is for Lexus Fans.

  • How can you do a LS460L review without even mentioning the backseat, let alone displaying the rear seat amentities?

  • he got the age range so wrong.

  • A fancy Toyota, looks like a camry, drives like a camry.

they should change the body style.. Make it diff than a Toyota!

  • interior is extremely luxurious... but its honestly lacking in exterior designs...

  • this guy don't know what he's talking about, he seems like a rookie

  • He is a good reviewer but he really does not get to the down fall of the cars he is reviewing.

  • I dislike all Audi models, I like some of BMW and mb, and I love all of Infiniti and Lexus ;)

  • If I have a full time driver than I would get long wheel base Lexus and relax in the back...

    If I will drive myself....

    1- S class

    2- Audi A8

    3- BMW 7 series

    4- Lexus LS

  • Dont know why people put this down compared to german cars

  • every company copys each other so shut da fuk up already. and lexus is better

  • What do you mean by better?

  • They need to get rid of the tape players and gated shifters. Doesnt fit into the luxury feel

  • Why do they need to get rid of tape players? What do you mean by gated shifters? Define Luxury.

  • @heartlessvietboy Do u still listen to tapes?

A Gated shifter is a shifter with a gated pattern instead of a leather covered shifter like in BMW, Acura, Infiniti etc

  • I do use my tape player you idiot. What does a gate look like? I don't see any shifter gated pattern in my Lexus?

  • @heartlessvietboy I wouldn't expect someone who still listens to cassette tapes to know what a gated shifter is

  • Lexus makes high quality cars. = ]

  • @heartlessvietboy But very dull and drab cars.....Yes high quality but boring.

  • How is it dull? What is drab? What do you mean by boring? Is a car fun to drive 95% of the time or is it relaxing to drive?

  • @heartlessvietboy It's dull because it's nooooo fun to drive or look at 100% of the time. Like the new Jag XJ that just came out is relaxing when you need it to be and a lot of fun to drive when you want it to be. Some of the things that make a car fun to drive are steering feel, steering quickness and feedback, suspension tuning, handling ability and many other more specific aspects. The LS is tuned to be as relaxed as possible but the the styling is soooo lame it makes you wanna pass out...

  • A car isn't fun to drive. Trust me on that. It's relaxing most of the time. Feeling proud of your car because it's a Lexus. Speak for yourself. 95% of people on the road do not test cars for a Living.

  • @NasahrSandi9 Your mother is dull, this is the most sexy luxury sedan and you can't afford it, that's it

  • @76Brancaleone yeah like you can actually afford one yourself....

  • $95,000 for a Lexus? No thanks. I'll stay with my S63 or M5, with much more power and credibility. Great car, but still. Personally, I think anyone who spends that much on a dull car is silly. I'd go buy a near brand new Quattroporte for $70k.

  • @xNIAC1Nx lol LFA sells for $375k!!!!!! Try that for a "lexus"

  • @DragonsKing91 LFA is still a dull car with many flaws, great step for Lexus as a brand, but it is far from production-ready value, especially with that price tag. That was my point, I wouldn't even spend $75,000 on a Lexus when there are much better options out there.

  • @xNIAC1Nx --- Mercedes brand has been one of the worst in customer satisfaction for the last 8 years.

  • @alxndr64 You're focusing on one aspect of the brand as a whole, look at the broader picture.

  • @alxndr64 LOL thanks to Chrysler

  • You are just bias.

  • @xNIAC1Nx yea thats great until you start taking your s-class or 7 series to the shop for stupid stuff all the time and paying ridiculous amount for each one. If you have the money to fix your benz or bemmer thats great! but for the rest of us who want quality and style we'll keep our Lexus.

  • @mabdiuhrman What you like is what you like, you either dislike Merc or BMW, or like Lexus, there's nothing wrong with that. My point was, even for something as luxurious as this, the price is too high, especially coming from the brand Lexus. You talk style and quality, the latter I can understand, Lexus builds their vehicles very well, but style, not so much. Like I said, for $25,000 less, I can buy a Quattroporte that has better quality, style, performance, and overall curb appeal.

  • There are many Mercedes and BMW fans in here bashing on Lexus causing conflict.

  • @xNIAC1Nx

S63 amg is alot more expensive but the M5 is only half as luxury

  • beautiful car

  • lexus are awesome, i really like them

  • A8 B&O Is Better

  • how is more gears better. more shifts to 60 mph does not help acceleration. PLUS, it's more complicated and likely to break down.

  • @tehepicmashimallow which is why bmw copied them? oh thats right, bmw isnt reliable anyway.

  • every tech in the S class was copied from Lexus LS, oh wait, it doesn't have self parking, it doesn't drive itself feature, it doesn't 8 speed, it doesn't have intelligent high beam system, it doesn't have face monitor for pre collision system, it doesn't have keen airbags, it's doesn't hill brake assist, it doesn't Mark Levinson, and on and on and on... most importantly, it doesn't have that L says " yes i am the bet car rated in the world for 14 years in a row ".

  • @realcuteguyyayiyayi well have you forgotten that lexus has copied airbags, abs brakes, cruise control, air conditioning, and gps from mercedes just like every other new car. and btw more gears in the transmission does not mean it is better

  • @Branman1994 have you not read the complete comments??? apparently not!!!

my comment was a direct reply to ATGT5's comment, he said everything in the Lexus was copy of Benz, so I replied in a way to let him understand all that he said was bullshit, and also to remind him that ALL modern new technologies that are from Lexus instead of the other way around.

  • @Branman1994 And again, Benz as well BMW and many other car makers copy Lexus, from tech to styling (this generation), and YES more gears is better, that's Benz, BMW and Audi will be offering it as early as next year.

  • @Branman1994 its called navigation not gps dope. and lexus isnt stupid enough to copy benz nav since its the worst in the industry

  • @OneOfOne well my mercedes uses gps to navigate so um yes it does have gps

  • Comment removed

  • all the germans copied lexus' 8 speed transmission. and only dumbass slave labor chinese restaurant owners and their worthless family members buy s class now. the LS is far more reliable than any german tech nightmare. obviously loser fanboys dont want to accept the facts but thats too bad. now go get the fries out of the basket losers.

  • @OneOfOne owning a mercedes class S or a lexus LS is simply a question of taste. You are just some poor kid who failed at life and get jealous because asians are more succesful and drive better cars.

  • @solarmann aside from having a stupid name, I am sure youve never owned anything better than an ipod. having owned an LS and having a friend whose uncle OWNS a slave labor chinese restaurant in boston, I think I have a bit more credibility than you do. I dont give a fuck about asians or anyone else for that matter but the facts speak for themselves. now go back to wishing you had a real job

  • @OneOfOne

Damn, you nailed it. I totally agree.

  • lexus is copying from germans for ur info line keeping assist was made by mercedes in 2003 mercedes s class and 2008 mercedes actros 1824 truck

  • @ATGT5 try it in english next time scrub

  • The LS had 12 world first innovations....one of those which is lane keep assist...I believe mercedes copied that from Lexus in the new e class....everybody copies each other...get over it.

  • Big German sedans cost much more, only for one reason.... they are a better product.

  • @pelepihuamo maybe in your world. but then youll never drive one so bugger off

  • @OneOfOne Don't get me wrong, Lexus is a good reliable car, but it is still made by an economy brand.

  • every tech in this lexus was copied from mercedes like the automatic opening trunk which was made by mercedes in 1993 mercedes S class

  • @ATGT5

    All luxury cars share features.

  • @ATGT5 so i guess lexus copied mercedes in making their hybrids too according to you
