Thanks for posting this excerpt. Danny was one of a kind, an original, a veteran presence and father figure to so many young players. "Liberty Street Blues" is a great documentary on New Orleans, and is available, last I saw, as part of a three-film dvd with "Maroon" and "Zarico", two other documentaries on the people, music and culture of Louisiana.
