  • i appreciate the unique perspective of your videos friend

  • I went from $23.00 to $12.50 an hour,I did take that crappy job.

  • I am SHOCKED at this video! (L.O.L.?) This SSI fraud has been going on for years, you know it and we know it, don't hand us a line of shit, like this is something new. The handouts, will be over sooooooooon! Have fun dawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwg!

  • We need you on the Patriot radio stations like RBN.org check them out, the owner is from Detroit and lives in Texas.

  • Good video man you smart I see we as American are in this together, thanks for the video

  • i'm with the guy in the video. i probably even sound like him when i say i want work.

  • this bum just wants to sit on hit big black ass claiming welfare and making youtube vids

  • I went to college for engineering and I haven't found any related work for a year. Where are the jobs at in this country for recent graduates?

  • your job is over seas you could move over there but the will shut you out with their culture and language.

  • Good job brother. I own a small motorcycle shop it gets smaller every week. Almost completely broke at this point. My wife went back to school at 41 years old to become a RN. She will be finished May 2011. I'm afread that we'll be living on the streets by then. GOD PLEASE HELP US ALL!!!!!

  • I'm a cook, I got myself a business card saying: Chef at your home. Couples, groups. Great food cooked before your guess, good prices. My phone is off the hook. Believe in yourself even when your feet are stuck in shit. Every poet, writer, musician, actor, director and other people had their best ideas while being broke and hungry. Peace out!

  • And to think that some weeks ago, the friggin' Feds closed up a limonade stand run by a 12 years old because she didn't had a permit. Godspeed Flint.

  • The average American isn't good in the fields of physics, chemistry, math, etc. It takes a certain kind of math for those fields, and even people in those fields are having a difficulty finding a job. It has come to the point people even in the medical field can't find work, I know of some nurses like this. Given where things are going economically, is even going to college a wise decision, no matter the field and deal? As the economy gets worse less deals and offers will be provided.

  • Maybe he should have claimed to be related to Obama? Worked for Obama's Aunt!

    -Oz

  • im glad you mentioned how we need more electricians and plumbers. there are lots of self made millionaire plumber and electricians in America. that would be a great way to go. here is Spokane Washington we more more millionaire plumbers than just about any city under 500,000 people in America

  • you can sell your fingers and toes for a lot of money as well!!

  • Holy cripes, how bad is it down there in the US?

  • it aint too bad here in seattle. yet haha

  • I guy got fined 5000 dollars for growing to many crops

  • Demcad, go apply at a restaurant. Trust me, they are still hiring if they are busy. I got laid-off from a nice job and then found a job at a coffee house. I took it. I didn't care. I now found a full-time job with benefits. I say take anything and you find connections through being out there.

  • My girlfriend has been collecting unemployment since nov1 2008. Since her company went to Mexico the goverment is giving her TRA benefits. She takes classes for english 3 days a week for a couple hours a day. It is easier to collect unemployment since you don't have to pay for day care with the kids.

  • have the government give me a million dollars. I ll give you a job and i ll pay you 15 an hour demcad. can you hook me up?

  • Thats what u see a lot here in texas but they know how to work the system. For example if u dont get marry and have kids and then the mother take their kids and claim food stamps and also collect unemployement and work for cash only. This people are the ones making it while the good people that follow the law get nothing. I make about 300 a week for me my wife my mother in law and my baby girl, its not enough. But when i went to apply they said i was making too much money to be helped. Oh well!

  • Love your attitude. I do not agree much with your assessment of what’s coming (societal & economic collapse). As an engineer, I work hard & you are right: we need more people in the hard sciences, there are jobs there. I simply love that as a black man you represent what every good human being can be and not the stereotypes too often accepted. I am Hispanic and successful. But I do recognize that a lot people are hurting and do my share to help others.

  • I took computer tech in college, and now I'm working at a Datacentre. The pay is "meh" but it's not too bad overall. I physically build computer newtorks, and deploy enterprise servers. We're always taking in new clients at this point, so I don't fear I'll be laid off anytime soon, and it's pretty easy goin job. I'd consider myself very fortunate I guess seeing all this choas that's goin on. If anyone's interested in that kinda thing, computer industry is booming... for now.

  • @ chiyerano -- Agreed. It does make a difference that he's in Flint. What a hell hole. No wonder he makes these videos. I keep reminding myself that.

  • Even 20 years ago I knew people that had fancy cars and nice houses and collected food benefits. Instead of getting married and combining income, one spouse works and the other has kids and collect government assistance. I live next door to a woman who hasn't worked in 30 years. There are many out there milking the system and unfortunately it is giving the honest ones a bad name. I was unemployed a few years back it it felt terrible. To someone else it is heaven.

  • To your milk the system comment. In my case. I was fired from a job in Canada and I was getting just enough money a month to pay the bills. It was less that a minimum wage job, but I had 8 ours of my day un tapped. So I didnt look for work until it ran out, and I figure the government taxes your paycheque for Unemployment and if you never collect on it.... your robbed of thousands of dollars.

  • dem dizzle...

  • I worked with a guy who was ex military. He told me he received a check from the military because he let's them think he is crazy. He throws away the medicine and keeps the money. When they call and ask him how he's doing and feeling, he just pretends to be mad and angry at the world and injustice, stuff like that...I couldn't believe he was telling me...he was proud of it...

  • I'm one of those millions that want to work but can't find a job. I don't think people (other than those that are unemployed) understand how hard it is to find anything these days, so they assume we're all bums. I have a degree in electronic engineering, USAF Vet, over 25 years in radio & tv broadcasting and can't find anything. I'm either over qualified, too old, don't have the right experience, out of work too long, you name the excuse... I've heard it.

  • Good advice man.

  • You have to get out of Flint. There are 521 jobs listed with UTMB, TX. MANY require only high school or minimal education-- GI tech, surg tech x 2, patient care tech, Hospital tech, medication aid, driver, clerk II, Patient care tech I, Medical assistant, pelvic health, Patient care tech -TDJC- , Medical assistant-ortho clinic, Research interviewer, Transporter...and many more.

If there is a job for Transporter that's been open for WEEKS, people aren't trying to get a job.

  • Has anyone been paying attention to how many time the media keeps claiming we are recovering? It's like a seesaw. "The economy is back. The recession is over." Two days later it says, "European bank fears grip market!" Two more days go by..."Those bank fears are now over. Recession is over again!" HA HA. Is anyone paying attention to how crazy this whole thing is?

  • Thank you!

    Keep spreading awareness!

  • I want to defraud the system, but my wife would let me... She is still hanging on the the historical morals and not the New American Morals of Lazies, Gutty, Greed, Lying, Killing, War and Thievery... So I can do like everyone else because I had to have a good wife. Poor me.

  • Straight up man. Michigan unemployment rate is a little over 13% not 83%; yo can't get a job cause yo bees an uppedy brother not cause they bees no jobs. Cracker got yo by the throat but yo talks like yo bees one of them.

  • 2:36 If you WANT to work you don't need an incentive? That's the point.. Like you said some people just wanna sit on there ass... Some people WANT to find work so the scammers are the ones interested in the incentive...

So you think it would be a good idea to pay out 18 MONTHS?!?! Dude I am amazed at this statement from you, your always talking about how the economy is f**ked yet you think an 18 months down payment for any one who can not find work is good idea?

    Study COMPUTERS!!

  • 1.32 the subject about getting unemployment check all at once. I think that's a horrible idea. People will just spend in on what they think to be "necessities" iphone, cable, name brand food, etc.... If America is better educated on money management then yes it would be a good idea, they can use the lump sum to invest in CD or stocks and time their maturity to their schedule of spending; however, most people will not do this, they will spend and live day by day.

  • ballet wont pay the bills liberals.

  • Why don't you leave Flint? Family? Why not go back to Alaska? Peace.

  • hmmm... "the future belongs to those who prepare for it today"...

  • I had someone roll up to my rental in an a nice car with chromed out 20" rims and ask if I'd take section 8 (government subsidy) tenants. At the time I hadn't heard of it so I said I'd look into it. She came back later and stomped by "for rent" sign the neighbor told me. There is a large part humanity that will take a hand out if yu make it easy enough. The government worker handing it out doesn't care where money came from, and the receiver can always find a use for free money.

  • Good video. I thought Schiff had some good ideas. I also liked his idea about making unemployment insurance private like otehr kinds of insurance. You could pay a premium to cover an unexpected period without work, and you could negotiate whatever benfits when you bought the policy at a price point you were willing to pay for. Personally I think I would save the premiums, and self insure in the form of a rainy day fund. BTW, nobody is capping on honest people looking for work, just the bums

  • I hear Idaho, The Dakotas and Montana are doing ok for the time being. It may be time to leave Michigan.

  • Man, it's rough all over...I can't find work here in Arkansas and that's with an associate's degree and my willing to work for less than normal. I've got student loans to pay back from when i was working on my bachelor's degree but had to drop out to take care of my Dad...I'm considering going back to school ONE MORE TIME and just get a certificate in cosmetology...easy money, not a normal job for a straight man, but gotta pay the bills, ya know?

  • I just took a temp job which I thought was going to last at least a month but it only lasted for a little over a week because there turned out to be less work than expected. I've been temping off and on for income and am trying to find something more stable.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=c8N88-uf27w

living at moms song ...unemployment tune

  • who the hell wanted to be on unemployment ? Do people knw how stressfully it is to be on that i would take a job any day im in cal and you have old people trying to get in at fast food joints

  • What about business majors?

  • I see that a lot people being picky over a J-O-B. Well all I have to say is if an opportunity approaches take it whether it be commission or salary. Remember beggars can't be choosers.

  • At my local grocery store I watched a Cadillac Escalade stop at the street light and a mid 20s guy hopped out and stood on the corner with a sign picketing for cash. That is our society now. GIMME GIMME GIMME! But you're right, a lot of Americans WANT to work but the jobs don't exist. The Feds CANNOT create jobs in the private sector no matter what they stimulate. Their ideology will never succeed.

The U6 and foreclosure stats are frightening!!

  • STOP GOING TO COLLEGE AND GET A TRADE!! The illegals are here IN PART to fill a gap in skilled tradesmen. Sorry but when someone who doesnt speak english or a dumbassed convict are the only choices for employers to fill the jobs what the hell do you want. Stop being LAZY mommies and daddies boys, and get to work, sweat, bleed, pushing buttons is not a job

  • need to start a business, make your job

  • i am working a retail job as i complete my TWO graduate degrees. i'm willing to do it. it sucks, but i'm doing it.

  • Don't go to a college for a job that can be outsourced.

(Wow, I didn't know the liquor store accepted WIC...ha,ha...)

  • you are so depressing

  • Dem, how cold is it their? Its still pretty hot here in NC. The job market isn't to bad her. We're getting overtime where I work.

  • Hey Reg. Have you read

Meltdown: A Free Market Look At Why The Stock Market Collapsed, the Economy Tanked, and Gov. Bailouts Will Make Things Worse by Tom Woods Jr.-Senior fellow at the ludwig von mises institute

Basically the Federal Reserve creates unbacked currency which results in boom and busts cycles. Even before the fed when states had unbacked currency you got panics. Woods says prosperity returns every time after cutting spending and going on sound money. We must remember the past.

  • Demcad, I've followed your videos for a long time. You seem smart, so create your own job.

  • Be a Berkey water filter distributor. You talk about peoples needs, well there it is, clean unfluoridated water. Now that they are planning to add 'lithium' too, water filtration is where its at. Be your own boss. By needing a 'job' you are just contributing and helping this slave system, that is no longer the 'american dream'

  • LOL at that house with the swans in the front :D

  • DEMCAD, there are a lot of engineers that haven't been able to find engineering work ever, and a degree in chemistry, physics might help you get a job at Wal-Mart in this economy. The best jobs today might be the ones that are getting guaranteed money from the government: teachers, medical jobs, military related, not sure what else.

  • There are probably a very large amount of people who say that unemployed people want to just sit on their asses and get a check, and these people saying this don't do hard work at their jobs but instead whine and make a lot of annoying noise and get a big paycheck.

  • Demcad. You're speaking for yourself. A lot of people are not like you.

  • @goodtreesgoodfruit

    it is HIS vlog

  • thumbs up. stay on your feet

  • Come on now Reg. You choose not to work. I say this because you are smart enough to get hired somewhere. And with your degree you're in demand.

IF I can get endless work, so can you. You have to market your talents in order to get a job.

And not everyone is 'choosen one', that they think they should be. They should be willing to accept their cards and deal with the jobs they can git. But agreed it's rough out there and people are taking lesser jobs/titles etc. They should not hesitate.

  • @judutchinski

Hey I thought you were in mourning and contemplating suicide since George4title closed shop. LOL

  • @judutchinski He lives in Michigan, though. Doesn't that make a difference?

  • Why do people need to work for?

Paying for a Mortgage so you can pay 3 TIMES the original amount to the BANKSTERS ?

Pay 20% more the car is worth to the BANKSTERS?

Pay for that shinny trinket 200% more then it is worth to the BANKSTERS?

Pay for a vacation 300% over the cash price so the BANKSTERS can steal you TIME from you ?

WHY do people have to WORK?

  • @sealhunter5

    its a good question man.

Banking & financing crooks want us all working so they can live an easy life by ripping us off. Its time to put an end to this racket and move to honest money to cut out these useless middlemen who are just gaming the system and screwing the real producers of society.

    END THE FED!!!

  • @orangedac Well said!

  • There is a need for CNC machinists. Unlike traditional machinists they are required to have computer programming skills to program the machine to cut a block of metal into a product outlined by a 2 dimension drawing. What makes it tough to learn is the computer program sometimes need on the spot debugging. That requires some rudimentary software programming skills that many blue collar machinists must obtain.

  • You said it - "Relevant Skills."

For those that depend on others to give them a job, it is the only thing that matters.

  • Yo man

Brothers gots 3x the unemployment rate and grinding poverty cause cracker keeping things fo himself. That bees why yo gots to move back home to yo mammas basement and can't get no thang. Yall should be quoting MLK or Malcolm X stead of those Nazis born with silver spoons. Yo be poor forever till the libertains get chased . Why yall worship yo oppressor? WAKE THE FUCK UP MAN. Cracker not helping yo!!!

  • @DEMCAD The hard sciences are not the answer either, at least not in Louisiana. My wife has a BS in Chemistry and makes Min Wage working in a kitchen. Zero face to face interviews in 2 years, can't even get a call back from a lab tech assistant job. I have an engineering degree with 10 years experience and can not make enough to pay a sitter for my Alzheimer's patient grandmother that I am responsible for. EFF College.

  • Colleges are just Diploma Mills, and Debt.

  • when they talk about milking the system is all the damn mexicans are coming over here they get a job that does not register with taxes and then they go get the unemployment checks cause the coversion rate fro us dollar to peso is .08 to the us dollar there fucking rich bro

  • ahh the prison beanie...I miss winter weather. Now that I'm back in the south east...the weathers been around the 90s thus far. As others have said this video was one of the better ones. It's more of a guidance especially to the younger audience, towards the end.

  • @ Reg

Good vid....at 1:08 I'm surprised you didn't jump at what sounded like gunshot (probably not, but whatever) and at 2:40 I noticed a forclosure sign on the telephone pole and shortly thereafter a liquor store. Summer of recovery, right? I just can't get optimistic about our future...

  • Peter Schiff is an idiot. Because he knows better. We are doing this in Germany since 1/1/2005 and the effects are devastating. The low payed jobs are killing all regular and middle payed jobs.

Thinking about a solution is one part - checking it against reality is a different one - one that the neocons, right wings and republicans never do. Not everybody has to make the same mistakes on his own - unless you don't see it as a mistake to feed even more fat cats.

  • @llothar68 idiot.

  • @llothar68

    Go to hell communist

  • @skyding8962

Been there, seen the seven levels of hell and i was so happy when my flight left Newark Airport heading Europe.

  • @llothar68 Thats not what we're hearing over here. If you think he knows better, then you'd be more accurate to say he's disingenuous. The populists never think about the knock on effects of their feel good policies. All they think about is what will be popular to the masses.

  • @GaryVolts

Schiff is not a populist, it's worse, he is still a financial advisor making money from the fat cats and they got a huge benefit from this low income government supported programs. He is just doing and promoting what is in his best interest - and it should be obvious to see what this means. Unfortunately the right wings and republicans don't see that they are so much closer to the poor lower class and can only dream (like Joe the Plumber) from becoming one of "them".

  • @llothar68 Of course Schiff Isn't a populist, the DEMOCRATS are. What fat cats? How did he get help from low income programs? Regarding the issue of normal people voting republican- have you ever considered that some people don't feel its fair to take something that they haven't earned? Not everyone subscribes to your world view of class warfare, of us and them. There are people that still believe in opportunity in America. Its not yet stagnant like Europe.

  • @GaryVolts

First of all Fat Cats and CEO's and banksters and people living on interest rates, stock options or other capitalistic instruments do not earn there money - they steal it from the working people. Money does not work, people work. So it's then okay to tax them to death (like 95% income tax for people like Bill Gates or Kate Winslet). There is absolutely no reason why someone should getting more then a 20x factor of income then others. So a max income of $20000/month should be enforced

  • @llothar68 I think you're confusing the cronie capitalism we have now with true capitalism that we've been going further and further away from in recent decades. I suggest you check out a copy of Schiff's "How An Economy Grows, and Why it Crashes" for a simple example of how capitalism is SUPPOSED to work. Capital is just as important as labor in an economy. Where does the money come from to pay an employee on friday if a project takes years to complete? My elderly mother lives on interst.

  • @llothar68 Its just like building a fire, you need 3 things 1)Fuel 2) Air 3) Heat. Without anyone of them, no joy. And for a good economy you need 1)Land 2) Labor 3) Capital. The true holy trinity.

  • @GaryVolts

And how the fat cats get help from low income projects. Are you so dumb that you really need to raise this question. Are you? Who on hell profits from low a lower income workforce. You are so stupid you don't even now anything about working class history and social development.

No wonder why people like you like Sarah Palin - you are so dumb that this dumb bitch meets your dumb expectations.

Tax is freedom, Money is slavery. Socialism Prevails.

  • @llothar68 Peter Schiff doesn't hire unskilled labor at his firm. But yes, if you have capital, and labor is in surplus, there are gains to be had. All your guys are digging ditches with hand tools and mine are much more productive using heavy equipment because I bought them CAPITAL EQUIPMENT to use.

Sarah is a bit of ding bat, but somehow she hit on alot of the the right ideas and got people excited about freedom and our Constitution. Maybe she had a good teacher somewhere.

  • they could also use that lump sum to open a small business like a cart or something.

  • If you really want a job not only do you have to think outside the box... you have to be able to jump in and out at will. I have resorted to self employment and it has worked out far better than filling out job applications. Well where I live if want to stay warm you pay through the nose for electricity, propane or you buy firewood.

  • saw detroit had a town hall meeting on nbc news. heard the population fell fro 2M to 700k. also how an entire neighborhood burned down. goodness the new mayor has his hands full.

  • AMEN brother !!! Just produce something ! skip the formal education, its a path to standing in line with all the other dime a dozen MBA's

What good are a dozen bean counters if there are no organic farmers and small arms makers. Become a tailor and grow flax and hemp for clothing!!!!!!!

  • Very good advice...Look for the future needs...No younger people are getting into my field of construction, which is post frame clearspan buildings, In the future there will be a need still for these buildings and only a few companies to put them up. Learn something you can go into business yourself you can't rely on a great job coming along anymore, you have to make it yourself.

  • Reggie you may want to work, but the vast majority enjoy staying home getting their gubment check for 2 years instead.

  • @skyding8962 I haven't collected unemployment in 9 months. I didn't even bother with the federal unemployment. I just want a job.

  • @DEMCAD

I know. I said you were an exception to the rule. Most people don't want a job if they can get free money. Many are 2 income households so they can get by on their spouses income.

  • @DEMCAD i had a friend thats been on unemployment for 2 years ...he was eating out a expensive steak house ...and had to go see every movie at the show coming out ....he got many offers to work and he turned them down ...because working for free is easyier and also had time to get 3 more credit cards ...to add to his 10 credit cards and 40,000,00 medical bills

  • @DEMCAD Go on unemployment for now until you can find a way to sustain yourself. The banks got theirs, you are entitled to get yours.

  • @DEMCAD Skyding has a point. You are not the typical unemployed person. I know 4 people who have been on unemployment and never looked for a job once. In RI you don't have to prove you looked. You just call a phone number and press button 1 to say you looked for a job in the past week.

  • @skyding8962 --- If I were unemployed, i'd resort to calling it "Tha Gub". lol (hick anncr): Gubby Gub. Keeps ya on top!

  • You think its bad now! Just wait till winter, allot of people will have no heat or food, you should have stayed in Alaska, at least you had wild life there. How long do you think food stamps will keep coming, the government is on the slippery slope of total ruin, it will break down, no food on the shelves, no delivery trucks, where you are will see the coldest temps ever this winter.

  • DEMCAD, This video is one of the best that you have made this year. keep it up.

  • I fill out apps, call the employer 2days later, they tell me to call back 3-7 days later, I call, and they say they are not hiring! And it repeats!

  • fuck usa

  • Hey Demcad

What is the unemployment rate in Flint? MI? Would you consider moving out of state? i hear texas is doing ok

  • Employers don't really want to hire people with degrees to do low paying jobs because they know the employee will LEAVE as soon as they find a better job.

  • Good vid with good advice!

  • Reggie, check each state's regulations for private investigator. Some states don't require a license, only working under another license/agency. Then you get your license. Your hands are not tied like others.

  • I've heard that college loans cannot be erased through bankruptcy.

And that you will be forced to pay them, such as by garnished wages.

    Is this true?

  • @StillToListen Research debt settlement and tax forms OID. You can avoid bankruptcy only buy settling unsecured debt (credit cards, personal loans, medical bills). A mortgage or car loan is secured debt and can't be bargained with. Look at all your options. Bankruptcy can/will hurt you getting employment.

  • Every time I see your videos I always see you walking, are you trying to stay fit in a just in case situation?

Good job and thanks for your videos.

  • Reg, your a nice guy and I really like your channel but ..dude, I'll be honest with you...if you can't find a job where you are and you are young..MOVE. I had to move to another city to find employment. Pack your bags, tell your family goodbye and find a job in another state or city. This is especially true if you live in the Rust Belt. The Rust Belt IS NOT coming back from this recession. The longer that you are unemployed...the more it hurts your chances of finding a job.

  • @Rototill27 The Rust Belt is a joke.

  • @wwe107

you got that right! The Rust Belt is an armpit. If it weren't for my good paying job..I'd be gone. I'll be gone soon enough though.

  • @Rototill27

And he spends thousands on rent and other things and moves and then can't find a job there and then he is shit creek. Your advice is terrible.

  • @skyding8962

Dude, I never said "MOVE WITHOUT A JOB OFFER IN HAND". That sounds a bit foolish doesn't it?..although it can definitely be done if you have relatives living in another state or city. I found a job in another city before I moved which means that he should be applying for jobs in other areas and/or networking with his family members in other areas. How is my advice terrible when it worked for me and thousands of other people?

  • You don't have to actually "take" the medications (ie. poison), just pay for the meds and pretend like you're talking them.

  • You gotta start working for yourself somehow. I am actually gonna start making my own products at home soon. I won't say what kind, but I am certain they will sell.

  • @labartic How many times do I have to tell you? People do NOT want to buy your poo.

  • Move out state!!! Theres work in Nebraska, my cousin found work and I maybe joining him. In the field of Info tech.

  • The problem with the low paying jobs is .. it does not pay the bills... and if someone don't have family ugh your out on the streets.. unless you find another low paying job have two but, the problem with that is.. the working schedule could be the same.. idk .. and school if you don't have a place to live nor funds how the heck can you go to school.. definetly today you need to have family or good friends for support it's who you know now not what you know to get a job..

  • What people really need is to learn to pool their skills together within their community and form cooperatives, rather than rely on a system that trickles up.

  • As long as you know how to interpret and find building codes and NEC code, you can become a plumber or electrician. That work is actually fun, unless your working on a sewage line. You have to know how to read. You need a license to call PPL or electric company and turn off power. I was going to run electric to a shed, upon research about voltage drop, I figure I'd need #4 as the wire size increases every 150'. I agree that there are no jobs available and it's ignorant.

  • Drum roll, the person also needs a medical review from a licensed psychologist or psychiatrist, be medical evidence. The family doctor can also prescribe the medications. Do they person have to consume them, no. But if they really do have a metal problem, look out and hide the knives.

  • Do you have a job Demcad? If not how do you make money?

  • @AllTheSame711 By doing odd jobs and being partnered on youtube meaning he gets paid for these videos.

  • Want a JOB?

    step 1. Don't be picky

step 2. Talk to your friends and family. or anyone with a job.

The only reason i got a job last year was because i knew somebody that knew somebody. I got people that come in to my work asking for work, but they will never get hired because they dont know anybody there.

  • @Lucky7wins When if you're friends and family are out of work or barely keeping their jobs?

  • @DEMCAD try ups they always employ

  • @Lucky7wins

It is NOT picky to avoid McDonalds. On the other hand cleaning streets is an OK job.

I really hate the Mcjobs and retail.

  • @Lucky7wins Step 3. If you have already tried step 1 and step 2 many times before and you still can't find a job then you are fucked

  • @Lucky7wins

    Want a JOB?

Step 3. Start your own business. Become a reseller and sell stuff to businesses cheaper than they are getting it for.

  • Thumbs up

  • Maybe get a job helping people get jobs because you seem to be an expert on what not to do...I'm joking bud. Maybe you have to relocate..My grandparents did, my parents did and i had to as well...life is good and jobs are everywhere here.

  • @ddub900 where are you near?

  • @freemansbunker Canada brother...About 4 hours noth of Minot ND. We need some capitalist conservitive americans up here!

  • Finally not reading an article off the internet. best vid yet

  • Dem, if you wanna work so bad why would you stay in Flint Michigan?

Throughout the history of this country people left their hometowns and went to where te work is, You could be making a bunch of money here in the SF Bay.

  • @cheeple He has family there. That's why he left Alaska.

  • Thx REG - Do a blog tv show soon plz. We need Moahr DEMCAD.

  • i dont think u understood schiff man... or at least ur only looking at one side of his argument

  • My desperate times are already here. I'm plotting survival at the moment, and I have not ruled out anything. Rest assured though, I will not hurt anybody.

  • I don't think it's fair to fraud the government, faking a mental illness. There are many people out there with mental illnesses who are perhaps not as capable as working as those who don't have mental illnesses. They would have no choice but to accept the money from the government. Why take away that resource from them? I understand that these are desperate times, but you could find a paying job that doesn't require you to take money from people who really need it.

  • hey this looks more like europe.

  • The illegal drug market is booming right now. Get out there and start slangin, boy!

  • The job market is somewhat great if you increase your skill level and obtaining the necessary training.

America still has a skill shortage, why not get into the professional? - So when you say people are having a hard time finding a job; one problem is skills. So many have skills that are minimum, outdated, and in need of upgrading. I hear so many complaining about the job situation but sort of "lack slacker" on getting the necessary skills to get back into the game! What's up with that!?!

  • If you REALLY want to get back to work even if it's low paying, get your guard card and work as a security guard. There are plenty of jobs in that. :)

  • I agree 100%!

  • The lawn care and snow removal business seems like a good idea? Lots of retired old people with bad backs.

  • record amount of folks applying for disability here in mich.unemployment runs out, disability doesnt.my good friend that works at the dhs says mich.is broke and anyone applying for whatever problem is denied.even food cards.i agree with peter,if i would have had 15 k all in one lump i could have started a small business.lot of people would have, maybe thats not wanted.if the masses are poor and hungry its easy to control them .

  • There's plenty of jobs in all those stores you walkin past, DEM! The BANKS have plenty of money, but they are too scared to lend. Their is plenty of JOBS out there but they are NOT hiring people who havent worked for 1+ years etc!

  • I've been seeing people who DO have jobs and are complaining about money and the economy, taking days off to go to concerts, treating their job as if it's a burdon to them, and not doing anything actively to change their life for the better... Halo Reach was more important than getting out of a financial hole for one guy I work with.

  • Those cars probably belonged to the social services workers.

  • I have a plan, I'm gonna give up my American citizenship and go to Mexico just to cross back to the USA so I can get free health care, free food stamps, free schooling, free free free!.. And if anyone says anything about it I will just respond .."No, No engwish!"

  • WIth all due respects to Peter Schiff, ... don't get me wrong, Peter is a smart guy, but he says some really DUMB SH*T sometimes.

    If I have a Masters Degree, I don't want a fkn job as a Wal-Mart greeter for $7./hr.!!

Peter is an elitist. He doesn't believe in MINIMUM wage either.

  • @karenbcz22 - 100% Right on! I followed Schiff for a while and liked his ideas, but when he began slamming the unemployed and calling them lazy, he lost my support. I bet that Senate race would've been very close if he would've just shut his mouth about the UE people. He might've even won.

  • @karenbcz22 The reason why this guy is walking down the street talking on a You-tube video instead of part of a cost competative work force bringing the rust belt back is BECAUSE of laws like the minimum wage.

Nobody WANTS to work at Walmart, but the thing that makes people show up to greet you at the door is the need for money to support themselves. It's an incentive to get a Masters Degree in something practical that you can get a job or create your own employment from.

  • I would get food stamps but I didn't qualify. I have been out of work for 6 months now, and still (Thank God) have my home and a 2 free n clear cars. Wife works 8 hours a day but based on her income, I don't qualify!.... MTG= $1200/Mo Water=$60/mo Gas=$40/mo Car Insurance=$140/mo both cars Health Insurance w/ Dental=$186/mo Electric=$120/mo Gas for the car= $60/week Groceries=$120/week wife makes $500/week after taxes I Don't Qualify! no cable or Satellite
  • Geesh!! It's only September. Aren't you HOT all bundled up like that?

  • I disagree with the school analysis. Go to school for what? Our high tech jobs are sent overseas to India (in my case) or are just disappearing. America does not even make anything anymore. Why would anyone want to take on massive school loan debt at this time? the whole college thing is just a way to create automatic indentured servants out of people.

  • Dont forget skilled trades such as mechanic. And don"t think that just because you have a degree at a good college you can get a job. A friend of mine has a master in engineering and is out of work. He was just offered a job for $25 hr no benefits. Not the kind of money you would expect for his skill level.

  • Did you see that video about the thousands of japanese who are still collecting on dead relatives' pensions giv. handouts for elderly? Some of the people they have in their database that are still getting checks are like 125 years old!
