Instead of striking out on his own when Owen of Clun got killed, Gulnar should have put himself under the Baron as a vassal. After all, he is the power....and Gulnar was really only an apprentice sorcerer compared to this Dark demigod. Gulnar tried too hard to be evil. The Baron just WAS.

I wonder if, had Series 4 gone ahead, Baron De Belleme would have returned? I'm sure Anthony Valentine would have been up for it. He seemed to enjoy the other two times he played the role.

@Kaagh178 Valentine was asked to come back for Series Three actually, but was otherwise engaged with other work. A showdown was on the cards, so if the il-fated fourth had gone ahead, we could have expected a welcome return for the Baron.
