I appreciate different opinions, but you might want to consider that Bo and Hope had (and continue to have) a devoted following from more than 15 years ago. It's maybe not such a good idea to dump on something you don't have the history to appreciate. Besides, you've got a remote (or a mouse), don't be afraid to use it!
shede25-I miss Olivia Spencer and Natalia Rivera-Spencer too. Other soap couples pale in comparison...they were the real deal. Such build up, relationship development, selfless love for one another..I could go on forever. See glimpes of Olivia in Carly...keeps me watching Days.

I wish the writer's had the guts to actually go there and break up Bope for good. It's sad that Bo/Carly fans (and Bope fans) already sense the same old outcome. So NOT enjoyable, imo....BOPE doesn't have to be endgame just because they were first. Sad and very unrealistic.

Is there any precedent for a supercouple being blownup in favor of pairing one side of the supercouple with someone else for good? Actually, I think there's one on Days. Granted, I wasn't watching, but first there was Marlena/Roman, then Marlena/"Roman" (John Black). Real Roman returned, but eventually Marlena chose John, right?
One of the challenges with pairing Carly with someone other than Bo is that she's too strong for a lot of guys. I don't see Rafe (or Daniel) being dynamic enough for Carly. When I watch old Bo/Carly scenes I always enjoy the way they battled - tough, but affectionate.
So true. There is so much more to this dynamic than the cutsie (kinda, maybe, well at least used to be...) supposed happt families fest that is Bope. Carly used to drive Bo wild and vice versa with their sparring bantor. And they are as enjoyable to watch playing at as they are playing the happy couple. I loved how they used to bounce from dynamic to dynamic in a single scene and it made me smile to see it again a few days ago. Think Mexico beach chase for a 90's example ...

Crystal seemed excited to be back on Days although she also seemed to think Bo/Carly was going to be just friendship. I follow her on twitter,but she never talks Days.Wonder what she thinks about where things are headed now? How long will she stick around? I've gotten the sense she and Peter adlib parts of their scenes which suggests they are comfortable with each other and the characters.
Crystal has apparently commited to two years. Hopefully if they show some sense and make best use of Carly (are you reading TPTB) and this storyline (grrrrr) and others around her they actually have a shot at renewel ... I could be wrong but I think that comes up next year. KA's contract is apparently up next June .... with all the outward veteran movement this year ... I wonder ... gah ... no I would never will/wish anyone out of a job! lol lol ... probably ... maybe .... no really ;)
Im sorry, id love to comment on the scenes but Skeletors bones poking out when she took off her coat are all i can think about:-( someone needs to do an intervention w/ her before its too late *gag*
@malong21 - I was looking at Hope's choice of dress, not her form, until you mentioned it. Yikes! Medical students could name her prominent rib and shoulder bones, she's so thin. I always thought her neck was too hollowed out for someone her age, like an elderly person's. I realize now it's because she is so bony...there's no flesh there to soften it. They should serve her up a big piece of that cake.
I read somewhere Rafe's going to be reinstated FBI and will be a good friend with FBI connections for Carly to have when the Alamain revenge plot kicks in
