I wish there was a course I could take to utilize the complex elements of this electronic marvel. I have had 1-3. I can't create my own effects presets. I am jsu being able to figure out which I can use. Also, the drum is far too dominant even when you adjust the balance between the guitar and the drums. So complex, it's great but almost a door stop because of it's complexity.

so that one could mix and eq the sounds?

it would suck if it required midi sync and recording each part separately.

Can you play the sync'd drums and guitar sounds in real time and have the separate signals run into different track of the mixing board?

this is what the man John Mayer uses as shown in the video, don't think you'll get the same sound from anything else realistically but look round on ebay and stuff might be able to find it cheaper :)

Yes it does, but if you are going to be using sequence-related effect, then I highly suggest having the effect send out the click track to your drummer to make sure everything is in sync
