I eat crow on this one. Forrest should retire-he had no gas after the 4th round. He fought a terrible fight. I think he thought he could go in there and KO him. To Sergio's credit he withstood the crapy attempt. Sergio got some respect, but he still is nothing special. He beat an eratic 37 year old fighter who looked bad. Mora did lose in the contender and if he takes on a lively Middleweight like Pavlic, Abraham, Taylor, etc-HE will get beat. His best bet is to stay at Jr. Middle

Yes, Not quite all of a sudden (He is 37)- Vernon has not exactly been a steady fighter =got punished by the chain smoker twice then took 2 years off with an injury. If you couldn't see Vernon lacked good cardio in that fight you are blind. He dominated Mora early then was out of steam. Mora is a pretty boring fighter that fights a herky jerky awkward style. An A level fighter will dominate him. His best bet is to stay in the JR. Middles where he can best compete. Hats off to him in the upset.

i agree although ipersonally think that mora's time has arrived if he can bump his abiliy up slightly higher and win o a decision against de la hoya who is 35 now and dominate the superwelterweightdivision he will be a great fighter. i like sergio but he has no change agianst forrest. the fight is 12 rounds. there is no way sergio can last 12 rounds, he gets tired after 6 and sergio deosnt have the power to knock out forrest. There is a 1% change sergio can win and that is if forrest gets disqualified

Yeah Mora is way out of his league against Forrest, I was hoping to see Forrest fight someone that could give me an indication if maybe he was over the hill, but I think he could beat Mora with 1 arm and one of his nuts being smashed by his cup... after drinking all night the night before.
