Mehdi Sb sang the same Ghazal, but Abida has made it mystical. To me, its the best artifact of Abida; I hae listened to this Ghaza more than 1000 times; I locked my brother and friends in a car and forced them to listen, amazingingly beautiful..poetry is Hasrat Mohani...

its unjustice with Mehdi Hassan also.he is King of Ghazal and no one can be like him.second important thing, this is not necessary that only mehdi hassan can sing it.Its By Hasrat and any singer has right to sing poetry of great poets to pay tribute.&an important point the Music is by Muzaffar Ali, so Abida has nothing to do with music,if its not ok its fault of composer....continue...

"yeh na thee hamari Qismat" ghazal of Ghalib is sung by many lagends..r they copying each other..no its just use of good poetry

now what we shd do..shud destry Ustad Raees Version coz Mehdi has sung it..& also if Mehdi Hassan can sing others others have same right.its not piracy of work its their own job
