I liked Plummer, but he didn't love football enough. As a QB, you have to be the leader of the team, and Jake didn't work hard enough in the offseason and didn't study enough film from what I heard. He was a very good player though.

Seriously? He was miles above bubby brister or brian griese or gus frerotte or anyone who took snaps since John Elway. Jay is going to be a better quarterback, I believe, but I think Jake Plummer was one of the top tier quarterbacks in the league (as demonstrated by his pro bowl selection a year before he retired).
