I wouldn't say that the Amish have no technology. Here in Wisconsin they are allowed to own tractors as long as they take the tires off and have metal wheels put on within a year of purchase. Most of them also have electric water pumps, it just has to run on a battery or generator. Their idea behind this is that the electricity can be easily unhooked as opposed to getting it from a power company. They don't have tv or computers of course, but they are not completely without technology.

Hook your xbox or playstation to your tv and you have access to internet (bid online), there is a variety of channels and they all show the same stuff, the one with fishing = Wii.
