Great job. You have a great voice, very powerful. If you would like my advice, I would say that you're a little restrained. Singing is like acting, you have to convince me that you mean what you're saying. This song is about a woman at the end of her rope who is shouting through her tears to "come on goddammit and take another piece of my heart". For practice alone, try pretending to cry, and sing through the crying. The lyrics are your lines, you're an actress.

Janis Joplin with good looks! But they'll pluck her eyebrows, paint her face and make her the standard product. The voice is strong (don't overdo it girl at your age) and the delivery raunchy. But it's not easy for her to get the pain in it that the wonderful Joplin had.

I don't agree with nikodeems - if that was so every single piece of classical music ever performed would be a cover version. Joplin covered nothing - she re-created it.
