  • How did you guys manage to screw the tune such that it breaks up so badly at lower RPM. That 's horrible, and not where a car usually "breaks up" at.

  • @urinemachine

As we mentioned before, these we're taken "pre-tune". When you remove the airbox from the car and add this many modifications a lot of things change that need to be tuned for. That "breaking up" you hear is the car shooting rich and basically "bogging down", all of which is now tuned out providing a proper power and AFR curve.

In any sense, thank you for noting that so viewers now know what's going on!

  • Would you be kind enough to tell of the exhaust specs? I know where hearing manly intake noise but every time I watch a flyby of that car, damn it nearly brings a tear to my eye at that little reverberation or whatever you want to call it on the shift, just sounds so incredible. 3", couple resonators, cat or no cat? If not completely understandable.

  • @BIGverHEYen No cats, and the rest is the stuff of legend.

Suffice to say, at its largest point, it's at least 3".

    That's what she said.

  • Pardon me whilst I tend to this erection.

  • @Klodust Thanks for covering that; that's not on our list of typical services rendered.

  • That's awesome. Love seeing the throttle bodies open through the velocity stacks. Out of curiosity, what was causing the low RPM studder?

  • @foleygac Thanks! The butterflies opening is the main reason I love shooting from that angle. It lets you see the car at WOT from an angle you normally wouldn't.

And regarding the stutter, it was an issue with the fuel delivery. Open stacks suck in air by the metric ton, so it's tougher to compensate at lower RPMs for all that air being added in. We've since tuned it out.

  • @FluidMotorUnion Thanks for the response. I figured it was something along the lines of fuel delivery but I didn't want to jump to any conclusions. I'm a huge fan of the work you guys are doing. I own a 2011 BMW M3 and when I saw the velocity sack set-up you guys did for the S65 I fell in love. Keep it up!
